You'd have to seriously question some of those players' desire for the game if they dropped down to League 2 for money.

Some are still in their best years, can easily play league 1 or higher. Only pure greed would see them drop to this level.

Coming in january, they'd be back in league one come next season ;)

When our left back at the time, Gregor Robertson, got injured at the back end of 2014/15 we ended up playing Toto at right back (with Magnay switching to left back) for both playoff semis. Toto was surprisingly decent there, actually! Although, I seem to recall he was at fault for the only goal we conceded in the tie.
He also played there v Torquay last year and had a nightmare game, someone on twitter later commented that Toto was better at full back than right back to then be told by Toto 'That's where I was told to play you fucking ****' which was nice of him!
He later apologised to the guy but I remember reading it at the time thinking what a tool Toto was as the guy didn't put it nastily, just that Toto was better in the Centre.

Blackstock was sat behind me at the Youth cup match the other week. I hope we aren't after him. Big wages for someone who's always injured.

Freck has struggled with injury the last 2 or 3 years unfortunately.

Carlisle and Plymouth, among other clubs, are supposedly interested in Newport's Rhys Healey, on loan from Cardiff, according to Neil Warnock. He also slated Westley in his press conference.

It sounded like Healey had a good game when we were beaten at Newport a few week back and scored too.

Some very good players listed. As you say linked, so whether there's any truth in them is another matter. We're going to be linked with every man and his dog whilst Steve Evans is in charge.

As for we've got money to burn isn't true. SE has a budget and if you listen to his recent interviews he mentions the fact that it's not a bottomless pit (or words to that effect) and not to waste JR's money.

Still, exciting times ahead for stags fans.
So Radford is unbored this week.

Why? Would you sell them in the summer :gr:
Haven't you heard? we're going up!!

haha i reckon we'll take a couple loan players and maybe buy one.

Also not expecting us to get promoted so easily just because we have SE, can see us having a real good go but as for him getting his 10th promotion we'll have to be very patient, slightly lucky and work extremely hard.

Hopefully Curle and Warnock being good mates will help us in this one.

Connor Henderson and Sanchez Watt scored for Crawley in the Sussex Senior Cup tonight. They are both on short term deals now and it seems they are getting game time!

No-one cares about the result .

Green did not turn down Carlisle. He was devastated when the move fell through at the last minute.

My source has confirmed this. He has however indicated that Carlisle may be turning their attention to more ambitious options in January such as Omar Bogle. Curle would ideally like a player with more potential and sell-on value like Jon Stead but the required transfer fee is likely out of their range.

He's made quite a few errors for us hence going on loan. He was signed as first choice but probably cost us 8 points in his appearances. Nothing at our end regarding this.

We've hardly missed him though. And if it gives some of our promising young players more opportunity to play in the first team then I'm cool with that.

They are buying our subs bench, which is fine by me

Gavin Hoyte is never fit and a liability when he is. Has been on the transfer list for god know how long, so thats great to get him off the wage bill. Sam Togwell has been a good servant, solid but unspectacular. If we're to push on he would have to go anyway, to get money for him is fantastic. Really believe we will recruit strongly in January.

We'll suffer from losing Togwell the most. His experience was crucial.

Allen is a serious pest and this is just confirming he's nothing but a mercenary wanker.

Urban, how many games has Togwell played in our recent revival?

We will not 'suffer' as you put it, may miss him on the rare occasion.

I didn't realise that the influence a player has starts and ends on the pitch...

And how well do you know him off the pitch?

How do you know he's influential off the pitch? Because 'mad dog' said so?

Spoke to a ffew Derby fans and they say he is a decent young keeper. A very strange one tho as I current keeper Spiess is doing v well. Just cannot understand us. We are in desperate need of defenders but seem to sign everything but.

I know of him via one or two people at the club. It's also common knowledge he helped out at training.
