We are well down the line with two keepers and a centre half.

Rumoured to be after Jordan Archer. Can anyone confirm?

I don't think we've signed any Bury targets.
Kyle and Nasmith. Bennet was rumored to have been shown around Carrington and Naismith was offered a deal last season. Lots of talk we are both after Robberts as well.

Jordan Archer lives across the road from me. Plenty of interest from Premier League clubs apparently.

If that's true, I'm assuming it's their multi-disabled teams. He was cack for us.

Not really heard any news on Roberts over the weekend (god forbid he can enjoy the off season ), Jimmy Ryan still on holiday apparently. I'm pretty sure we'll make two signings this week at least just no clue who.

FFS are you lot after EVERY Bury target!!!!!

#soznotsoz.

Makes you wonder how much we're paying him if he had a tour round Carrington and signed for a team whoss training ground is a field next to a Roko Health Gym.

I like the two signings you've made so far, especially Molyneux who I remember being pretty decent for Accrington. You reckon you'll be able to keep Redshaw?
Sorry for the late reply, we should be able to I think. He's settled here with a family etc, He was supposed to leave last year but turned Peterborough down surprisingly. Barkhuizen was fairly average in his loan spell but was short on game and I'm looking forward to seeing where Molyneux will fit in.

Aren't most players on holiday at the moment? Two signings seems unlikely assuming this is the case. And if you do sign anyone, please make sure they're cheap and shit. Give the rest of us a chance.

Us and Luton are linked with Magnus Okuonghae. Legit rumour too, not just some bloke called 'Hatterz4Lyf' on a Luton messageboard somewhere.

Nothing from our end. With the Joe Dunne connection, it makes sense (at least to speculate). Yet more experienced captain material for the defence. We really need someone with a bit more pace and/or can do a fullback job but, despite injury history, he should be OK - even more competition for Josh. I'm sure we have plenty of other irons in the fire.

Genuine idiots.

Us not U's. For further reference, I would call you Cambridge because I don't generally mention clubs by their nicknames.

This is why apostrophes are important.
Comes of using the same specs for test match and lap top but......it's a hot (well, warm) topic on our board:

" .........my wife always gets annoyed by the fact it has an apostrophe in it.
It probably shouldn't but that's not the point, it's our nickname!"

drawing the compliment:

"I love the comment about the apostrophe above, so correct on both counts!"

followed by:

"Some signs of improvement. Well done." from our resident literary academic, grammar and punctuation guardian, Doctor-of-Belles-Lettres.

We also have our share of divvies who can be less polite and discerning.

Come on you U's.

The correct phrasing should perhaps be "Luton and ourselves..." or "We and Luton..." Although not formally educated locally, I have come under the influence of some eminent locals - so you can see how a mistake may occur. I shall try to remember to think in the vernacular in present company for the future. :pond:

I got an A in A-level English I'll have you know. Plus 'Us' is less hassle to type out on my phone than 'ourselves'

We've released Adam Legzdins despite having a year left on his contract, which is fair enough because he is a little bit rubbish.

We now have Gary Woods and Charlie Grainger contracted for next season in goal; I would imagine Grainger will be loaned to a Conf... National League side. Hopefully means we may sign a competent goalkeeper.

Don't really need Okuonghae, especially if we sign that young lad Gibbons who we've been trying to confirm for about 16 years. Cuthbert Wilkinson McNulty Gibbons as four centre halves. Lacey and Franks still under contract too

Hartlepool have signed Carl Magnay from Grimsby. Obviously a minor coup opposed to The Bingham!!

I don't understand why all teams say "highly rated" for players like this, never heard of the lad but if you're playing for Grimsby at 26 how highly rated can you be exactly??
