Boro by all accounts and rumoured to be around £4M but we're supposedly getting Connor Ripley as part of the deal. I guess that makes it around £5 / 6 M.
Ching ching for you lot then, around £1M!
Should allow Power to buy a nice new supercar.

Be surprised if he lets Flitcroft see any of it!

Nice, we are in the same boat waiting for Arry to get Hugill... but as with Swindon will the chairman have it.

Still not good then BB?
He's done well by admitting his mistakes and letting the new manager get on with it but not convinced he wouldn't just pocket the Flint cash. He's always said he's here to try and make money after all.

I only followed him because I thought it was an interesting idea and hoped for some insight on how things are run - trialists, contracts etc. Instead he just seems to act like your stereotypical Twitter fan - quite dumb, extremely vocal and a bit of a dick - except he's got power over the club and therefore has an army of minions that back him on everything.

So unprofessional. I love the idea of transparency in a club but there's a way to achieve that.

Darragh chats shit 90% of the time, he's not only unprofessional but a bit of a moron. Hardy at county is the exact same, going on twitter promising some wonder signing then it never happens because he hasn't got a clue about football. County with him won't get far with negotiations

That's not good. Nobody makes money by owning a football club do they?

Leave Bazza alone. Doesn't matter what he has done since, will always be a Barnet legend.
Ha, sorry BK. I'd forgotten what he did at Barnet tbh ( I'm blaming age and wine consumption) I suppose he's a bit like Holloway for us, clearly a bumbling idiot but our idiot

Unbelievably, Adam Marriott has signed for Royston Town FC of the Southern League Prem.

Can only assume from that move that he's opted to do something outside of football.
He's far too good for them.

I know other U's fans disagree but I'd have given him 25k-30k per year to sit on our bench and come on for 20 minutes when we needed a goal. Unfortunately he's a flair player who doesn't run round the pitch like a headless chicken so he doesn't fit with our "ethos".

He's also provided Barry Fry with employment for years. Imagine those two twats being in charge...
It was good when they had Ferguson and then Westley in charge. A whole team to hate without having to try.

Aside from the fact McCann is scum through and through, I haven't developed a hatred for his personality yet. I hated the other two before they even became Boro managers.

I cannot contain my excitement for the conclusion to this Sinbad fella to Luton saga that seems to be dominating the transfer window this summer

Stinks of that CMS one from the other year, and look how well that turned out!!

He seems to think he can spot potential stars and then sell them for a profit. He's done it a few times to be fair. Luongo and Byrne to name 2.

Now we've been relegated it's all gone to pot and he seems to have given up on his model to an extent (we've signed a load of experienced journeymen this window). Think Vigouroux and maybe Dion Conroy are the only two players that could ever realistically go for a decent fee.

I think the Bogle thing is absolute pie in the sky but if he went for £750k and some of that was add ons which my not be applicable now would £500k be derisory if he is surplus to requirements.

If they can cover their initial outlay in a simple world would make sense. I don't think it will happen and Grimsby fans will know more than me on the initial deal but just made me think that's all.

Horrible feeling Bogle will end up at Oxford!

Be amazed if he ends up back at this level. Think he originally kicked off because he wanted to stay in The Championship?

New signing incoming for us by the way. Trialist who played for us recently against Derby U23.

Could be done today.

how do mansfield have 500k to spend? isn't that more than their entire gate receipt for last season?

I would find it embarrassing if we are actually chucking about 500k bids at this level - thankfully it's almost certain to be complete shite as per.

Gaving Gunning deal finally completed, likely to be back up but seems a decent enough option if needed. Complete nutter though apparently!

JR has a lot of money hanging around that if not spent on his other business (Our football club) will go to the tax man so.... we get around ffp by charging one call more for sponsorship.

Any truth in Tom Miller returning or is it just a Twitter rumour?
Been mentioned around our forums and there was an article from a fan blog site who randomly did a piece about him a couple of days ago and I'm pretty sure he gets fed bits and pieces, so I'd say there probably is.

Does anyone else think the Peterborough owner being so open on Twitter is just ridiculously unprofessional? I've just started following him and he's just so cringeworthy. Imagine having that running your club...
No, I've said the same. I think he uses it as a platform to pat himself on the back as well.

He's far too good for them.

100% agree and I'd have done the same.

His best performances for us were final 20-30 minutes of games. Contributed massively in those stages.

We're set to continue our raid on the Forest under 23 ranks by signing defender Alex Iacovitti and midfielder Ryan Yates on loan. The latter sounds particularly interesting, having had a really good spell in League One with Shrewsbury at the back end of last season.

We only need them to decide to send Tyler Walker out now for the set! :D

The final deal was undisclosed, but we'd turned down 850K from Rotherham the week before for him so you'd deduce from that that it was close to £1M.

I think it's more likely Wigan offered more upfront, and the actual value of the transfer was similar.

Anyone who believes that we've bid half a million for anyone is bizarrely gullible.

A proven bullshitter tinkles the latest round of bollocks on Stagsnet and the soft in the head get suckered in by it.
