Flynn Downes and Lloyd Jones both been confirmed.

Slightly intrigued by the Downes signing, wasn't a position i thought we would be looking at given the amount of Centre Mids we have in our ranks. Unless he is a defensive midfield player its an odd one, or possibly means one of Pelly/Cook/Gambin/D'ath are going perhaps.

The way Jones describes him makes him sound like a defensive midfielder (and he talks about it freeing up Rea to drop back into defence) so I'm guessing he's the last minute Woodyard alternative.

I can't see it but he's a championship striker and they've just signed Tyler Walker from Forest so maybe it's plausible if not for the fact he no way dropping down to league 2

Would be a great bit of business by us imo if we could unload him for that when he’s out of contract in summer and is currently a bit part squad player now that our injury problems have eased. Would have been on my list to replace in summer.

Was a good player for us in league 2 so all the best to him should he go.

Any rumours of the fee paid for Tom Pett Lincoln fans, we had a 20% sell on clause but given he had 6 months left on his deal I'm guessing it was pittance.

Danny never pays much so I would guess under 50k probably more like 25k sorry.

I liked him and when called on last season (8 games) always did a job, played more in first season but as Luke says has spent a lot of time on loan and was made skipper at both Southport and Eastleigh.

I'm actually pretty chuffed with Jackson. The Slade writing was on the wall when he was allowed January to sign players. It wasn't realistic to think Fenty would get shot before today. You just have to hope he doesn't sign too much shite and the new manager can keep his shambles up, he's undone 7 years of work.

He is better out wide. We tried him as a target man and it did not work. He has good speed, height (though does not use it brilliantly) and is good at tracking back and bolstering the defence. Still not certain why you are in for him.

Elliot Lee out injured for a while if you believe the rumour mill so makes sense for us to be in the market for another option. I'm guessing he would either play wide when we go 4-3-3 or as one of the front 2 when we use the diamond.
