Wouldn't expect much from him, typical lower league player. He's a 1 good game in 5 type winger, doesn't really seem to give a shit about football. Unless of course he's become way better sitting on the Bristol Rovers bench.
No he didn't.

Dean Keates transfer policy; Anyone that’s played for Tranmere.

Tranmere: We hope he doesn’t take James Alabi..:fish:

That ex agent twitter account who’s got a fair bit right already claims there will be a big L2 signing today. We’ve been linked with absolutely no one so doubt it will be us.

Nor us Richard, the owner is away in Portugal until the weekend at some EFL conference

Any Lincoln fans have a view on Joe Ward?

Clear that some Grimsby fans are struggling to come to terms with the fact that they're pretty much anonymous in this division. Not a force, not a threat, nobody's going to have heard of most of their signings and nobody's particularly bothered. They admit they won't be a threat but get offended when other fans say it?
Who are you referring to with that post? You have essentially echoed everything that we have said about ourselves. That's the problem with the likes of you and Chris, you have a set agenda of items you want to get off your chest regarding the Mariners and it doesn't really matter how rational our own opinions are - you'll say your little piece regardless.

Oh, you put Joe Grant.

Didn't see too much of him here. He was quick, but that was all we found out really.

Had a very good start to last season at Woking, which wasn't a surprise because he was better than playing PT football there but whether he's got enough about him to play at L2, I'm not sure.

Was certainly a surprise when Posh signed him.

I know we don't agree on it, but the only good news i've heard on the transfer window so far is that we've not signed Kane Hemmings

Siriki Dembele has handed in transfer request. Started season like a world beater, got injured then In and out of team and by end of season was walking round like a spoilt brat.

Be interesting to see how much we get for him, definitely potential but not much end product yet.

Onwards and upwards!

Sad to see him go due to the potential he showed at the start of the season. But on his attitude at the end of the season, good riddance. Would rather have players who want to be here like than players who think they are bigger than the team.

Meh. Can tear it up once every few months, but he is tiny and lightweight. We've activated the additional year by all accounts, so will be getting a fee for him which I'm more than happy about. Could go on to be very good, but more than likely won't.

Disappointed he wants to go but not disappointed to lose. There's either an incredibly talented player there or waste of talent. I'm happy to get the fee and not take the risk.

The player from the first half of last season is one hell of a player and should go far. However he's not one for showing any fight when it's needed and hardly played a part in our improved form at the end of the season.

If he's had his head turned by his agent then so be it but the lad certainly needs to get his act together when things aren't going well.

At least we should get a half decent fee for him if he does move on with a decent sell on clause IF he does go on to fulfil his early potential.

James Norwood linked to Burton, Portsmouth and Shrewsbury.

Would take a crazy figure for Tranmere to accept a bid(I hope), especially given the lack of realistic options to replace him.

Would take Nors back here tbh, I know he's not popular with some of our fans but imo he's quality. I know we were interested last year, but unlikely to happen now you've come up. Especially given that our budget isn't that big according to Cooper.

Think Lincoln could well be the team with the big transfer. Lots of talk of Lyle Taylor to them on Twitter never mind how accurate that is. Always thought Lyle was pap when I saw him

Can’t see it for a number of reasons, the main one being we have already lost Cook and released Mangan. If we sold Norwood we’d need an entirely new strikeforce.

He also bought a house up here recently and is in negotiation for a new 3 year contract. Would take well over £250k to get Tranmere interested.

No talk this end of anything imminent, which is unusual. Not seen anything on Twitter either.

Lyle Taylor is someone who's been spoken about since January, though. Cowley had him at Concord.

Top lad too, loves the banter.

To clarify, this is a sarcastic post and he is a complete pillock.

That certainly seems to split Stags fans, many were very disappointed that he didn’t sign, others relieved. No idea what the split is.

I always thought Angol was the one you wouldn’t want for next season, as he underperformed and doesn’t look interested

Will be a loss in my opinion. Shame we couldn't get him to sign and will be a gain for County given how little pace they had in our previous games. Will probably get 20+!

Any chance of him staying in League Two if he moves? Surely worth a punt, one decent season and it's easy profit.

Our academy manager (the ex-Millwall striker Jon Goodman) was a big part of Dembele's development at the Nike Academy, and we desperately need a right winger, so I'd like to think we'd take a look (despite taking into account the reservations of the Coddies above) - but suspect Dembele will attract L1 or even Championship attention?

He was fast, scored some goals and worked hard. I don't think the grass in necessarily greener in this case. I don't think he's getting a fair appraisal from those who aren't bothered to see him go. Football fans have weird opinions though, especially Mansfield ones. I stopped looking on Stagsnet at the poll on David Flitcroft when at the end of the season 54 per cent of people wanted him to stay. 54 per cent! Lol, look at the sodding evidence, it's a bloody shambles!!

Only 40% of Tranmere fans wanted to keep Mellon in November of last season.. football fans aren’t the best.

The majority of Grimsby fans wanted Hurst out, now he's in the Championship and being talked about as one of the best up and coming managers in the country. Maybe even a future England manager.
