Looks like our signing of Kalvin Lumbombo Kalala is all but done.

Was playing in Serie D last season - but has impressed sufficiently having joined us at the start of pre-season.

I heard it was at least 400k on a three year deal, wages around 4k a week. If they pull this one off, the thread about the already promoted threesome will have to be changed to 'quartet' :bg:

You heard wrong, we don't have the kind of money Lincoln have due to lack of fanbase, we go only dream of crowds like yours.

How can you quote such stupid figures? It’s almost as if you’re joking!

Jordan Archer signs on a 2-year deal from Chester View attachment 9117
We reportedly looked at him before he signed for Chester and decided against it. Hardly an inspiring signing considering his goal scoring record at the Deva but there again it was for a very poor side. Hope he works out better for Bury than Alabi did for us.

Thomas Verheydt leaves Crawley to join Go Ahead Eagles, in Holland, for an undisclosed fee.

He spent most of last season in that exciting position most fans call "a passenger". However, the teams results with him in were a lot better than without so maybe I'm being harsh. A total of twenty games and two goals is not really going to be missed and Ollie is an improvement.

I suppose the last thing to say is..."Go ahead Tom. Made my day"?

Reece Grego-Cox joins Crawley on a two year deal. He has been on trial here all summer. Seems we were waiting for Verheydt's move back to Holland before we could get RGC's signed up.

To be honest all I know about him is he has played a game in the Premier for QPR and been on loan at Newport and ended last season at Woking.

We've signed James Pearson on a 1 year deal

James Pearson is an interesting one. He never wanted to step down to the North level but injuries kind of forced it and he had to prove his fitness. He's a good player and will do a job for you but weirdly not too disappointed he's gone as he never saw his future here.

Watch his knees though. Had serious issues with them over his career and easily could still be a problem.

Did sod all for us. Little fella who minced about on the edge of the pitch for the most part. Lightweight, too easily muscled off the ball.

Do you know what's happening with Labadie?

Do you know what's happening with Labadie?
From today's Argus:

Meanwhile, Michael Flynn says former captain Joss Labadie is still continuing his rehabilitation at the club – despite now being a free agent.

Labadie, who is recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury, has failed to agree a new contract with the Exiles but Flynn has still not ruled out a deal.
“There’s nothing to say at the moment,” said the manager. “He’s not signed a contract, he’s a free agent and I’ll be spending my budget on players that I need to get in.
“It is what it is. There’s no problem there and, like I’ve said before, until he goes anywhere [else] I won’t rule anything out. But at the moment nothing is happening and he’s a free agent.”
Flynn added: “He’s a very good professional and he’s working hard to get back as soon as he can.
“He’s a great lad and he’s never been a problem. He’s still doing his rehab here. He hasn’t gone anywhere.
“He’s not holding us to ransom. I’ll still be signing players and if that means the budget’s gone then the budget’s gone.”

Ah ok fair enough. Had heard rumours he would be training with Dagenham and then signing for us in January, not sure how much truth was in that though.

That's doing the rounds with us too. Would say that's the most likely outcome particularly as we rejected an offer from FGR for him in January.

Was a very, very good RB for us before his injury, which completely ruined his knee. If he gets back to near where he was before he'll be completely fine. I presume he's atleast partially proved himself to earn a 1 year contract. Hope he does well for you. Just don't go on any tours of Thailand this season.

Sunderland have joined the race for Mo Eisa now - just a matter of time before he's gone now.

Think that would be a great move for him to be honest - will no doubt be in the Championship in 12 months' time but with a more incremental climb rather than jumping straight up to the second tier.
