Ideally the club only want one to leave really, apperantly we are ‘top heavy’ completely disagree personally.

Angol will probably stay with Rose going now I imagine.

Neither will leave unless the price is met, so the above comments are incorrect.
Didn't Flitcroft or Radford say Angol was worth 300k? There's absolutely no way we offered that and our bid was apparently accepted apparently.

Angol was around what we paid (£150,000) and JR wants around the £300,000 mark for Rose It sounded like.

Question:

If a player plays for club Y, and has a sell on clause from club X, what happens if club X buys back the player from club Y?

Surely they aren’t entitled to a % of their own transfer?
They absolutely would be, unless it was explicitly written into the transfer contract that the clause is nullified in that situation.

We are signing David Wheeler from QPR. Exeter fans where does he play? Is he an out and out winger or more or a wide forward?

Hoping the Tom Bradshaw to Millwall deal goes through so we can make a late move for Danny Rose.

That’s owner speak for not losing face when a player goes for under any supposed valuation. Surely nobody falls for that one anymore.

We’re after a striker. You still owe us compo for Preston. Maybe there’s a deal to be done there.

He’s back training 4 weeks before he was due. Guessing 4 weeks to get fit.

He can play either. He's quick and has a ridiculously good leap on him - we found it quite effective to play long, diagonal balls to him as he'd always out-jump his marker. He seems to prefer running the ball into the area to create chances rather than crossing it in and he's also a very decent young man. Should be a good signing.

Yeah because every situation is the same. Surely nobody believes every owner speak is exactly the same?

Apperantly the Rose offer was only slightly under the club valuation yet still rejected, both are contracted for two years (Angol might be a year + option) we only want to sell one and the club is obviously not in a situation where money is desperate.

RE Preston, I can't see Swindon getting much.

I'll bet you everything I own and more that it's a undisclosed fee, like every player we buy and sell.

Oh fair enough, I thought he'd said he wanted 300k for both.

Yeah what he said was confusing, some people read it as he wanted £300k for each or the rejected bids totaled to that for both players.

That amount for Angol is totally unrealistic and might be for Rose too.

Nobody is entirely sure what we want for both but the general rumour is the club wanted to recoup the fee for Angol (£150,000) the bid would have definitely been six figures anyway.

Then, how do you know you don’t owe much for Preston?

All I said was I can’t see Swindon getting much? Because it’s compensation and you rarely get a fair amount?

What’s wrong with ya?

Swansea in discussions to sign Tom James apparently. Interesting given he failed a medical at West Brom last week and got sent off on Saturday.

I await evidence of conning, I also want evidence of how he bullied you, and if in fact he fondled you at some point too?

I have sympathy for anybody that’s been fondled inappropriately by a big bully football manager like Flitcroft.

so You still think last season’s 10 game disaster was just a blip or down, somehow, to Fatty Evans.

We've got a behind closed doors match this afternoon against Donny where our manager is looking at some trialists (again) and giving playing time to those who haven't played much in pre-season (O'Connor etc).
Expecting Luque and one of the Centre Backs to announced as signings now Waterall has left.

Well it was a blip, Flitcroft managerial skills are very questionable but he’s not turning a decent L2 team to relegation bad is he?

I’m still very concerned he’s going to muck up another should be promotion season, but I don’t believe he’s Carlton Palmer bad. Only you do.

No, of course not. But Mansfield is a decent club with decent fans. With Flitcroft at the helm I can’t see it ending well - especially as he has been backed so well. I think that most fans - not just your own - would have thought any capable manager could have got you in the POs last season. I just can’t see what’s going to change.

I didn't think we should have kept him after last season, but the chairman made that decision to give him the summer and the chance to bring a few players in and install his own style of play. Got to give him a chance at least, he's got a tough crowd because the fans will turn on him quickly but even his biggest critics are willing to see how we start the first 10 or so games.

It has to be a tough crowd after the spectacularly bad performance Flitcroft put in last season from a very strong starting position#handbrake

But summers and the close season are fantastic for forgetting things
