I'd hazard a guess some League One club will sign him. Am more interested in whats going to happen with Oyeleke, things seem very quiet on that front. both in terms of staying with us or linked with anyone else.

Well its not Mitch Clarke.

We've signed Tyler Reid from Swansea. Looks like a unit.

I see he played 7 games for Newport, any recollection Newport fans?
Built like a brick outhouse, looks more like a tight-head than a right-back. Huge thighs. Didn't impress but didn't get much of a run in our side tbh. Might do a job for you tho.

Manny is an odd one, can't see many offers and unlikely any of a higher level based on his injury hit season last season, but if we lose him I think it will be down to location and the chance to return south, someone like Orient goes in for him then we'd lose him even if we offer more money I'd assume.

As for the new signing, I was a bit meh this morning, felt that Askey was building his Macc side back up again and on the face of it may be but reviews from Wrexham and Macc fans seem positive so worth giving him a chance. Defensively we were strong last season especially away so its up to him to force Smith and Legge out the team, if he does that he's done well. If we doesn't he seems a decent back up to have.

Cheers for the feedback. We have Broadbent a CB who we signed who also has a rugby player's physique so maybe we're going down that route!!

Hasn't one of your fans linked him with us?

Vale fans, what is Mitch Clark like? Apparently you had him on loan from Villa last season. I'm putting 2 and 2 together here whilst waiting for confirmation as to who this new RB is, but that's one rumour.

I didn't rate him as highly as some other Vale fans, but certainly think he could be a very decent player at this level.

A modern day full back - struggles with positioning and defending but can bomb down the wing and contribute to attacks with excellent crossing ability.

Happy enough with the signing this morning. Good profile, good age, good stats last season, Askey knows him and he sounds like he's still improving.

Good signing on paper.

We have no money and he signed a new deal at Hartlepool last week. Some of these Twitter accounts are clueless.

Signed Ryan Watson from MK Dons on a 2 year deal. Looked quite good when he was here on loan under Wilder so happy with that.

Good business that. He looked lively early on last season but fell out of favour and was very much a bench warmer after that. I was interested to see who picked him up as he looks the type to progress under a good manager.

Shame it's you lot really :bl:

Don’t say ‘you lot’ like we’re some sort of rivals please

I'm surmising that he is very much keeping his options wide open.
Vale may well be down the pecking order and he'll see what is dangled before him.

Only and only because of injuries i wouldn't be too distraught at losing him but a fit Oyeleke is quality . Maybe it was just one of those seasons for him.
Literally play 5 , miss 7, play 8 , miss 4.
He never truly got going, he'd be a loss but not irreplaceable , it is League 2 after all.

Seen a rumour that we are after Matt Green.
So either Fenty has finally decided to put his hand in his pocket or its complete bullshit.
I’m guessing the latter.

Class of Nerdy2 have signed Oscar Threlkeld - Most recently at Plymouth last season.

A standard signing for down here this time - Suprisingly.

We MIGHT be interested as we need two new CMs this summer, he did very well at Aldershot and was on our radar last summer.

Josh Wright to Leyton Orient - hope this is true.
Every chance, local to the area and was at our FA Trophy final as well.

Think JE wanted him back in January but he didn't want to drop down to Non League.

Gary Sawyer re-signs. Certainly wont pull up any trees but a good, experienced, honest preofessional who is a solid 7/10 EVERY game!
Was a useful squad player for us in League One!! Even played him RB once or twice and he did ok there.

We haven't signed anyone but apparently we are aiming for 25 clean sheets next season which is the L2 record. 10 at the back?

Getting Josh Wright off the wage bill may be the best thing we do this window.
