There was a thing a few years back with people doing vodka shots in their eyes.

Never tried it myself I like being able to see. I like watching Crawley play foot... er Crawley playing.

Same, a lot of the stuff I do needs me to be able to see, ideally, so the thought of eyeballing never really appealed.

Crawley sign Josh Dacre-Cogley on a season long loan from Birmingham u23s.

Right back who can play on the left or as a centre back it says here. I know nowt about him to be honest but as our right back has at least a three game ban for a red card for violent conduct it's come at a good time.

We have also signed Alfie Jones. An eighteen year old keeper from MK Dons. Again I'm in the dark but we now have two keepers signed up and a season long Loan keeper from Birmingham...why?

Casey
Whoever your original keeper is doesn't want to sit on the bench while the Birmingham loanee is first choice; young Alf from MK is happy to do so and to get some time in the cups. Maybe...

And Dacre Cogley sounds more like some sort of scrumpy... :)

News of our latest signing has been broken by an unlikely source, the Swindon Advertiser.

I'm really impressed with the capture of England international defender Nathaniel Chalobah, but feel the high wage he will demand could be better spent strengthening us in all areas, and honestly would probably rather see us sign a striker.

Grecians and Saddlers fans, any thoughts on Kane Wilson, who Rovers have loaned from WBA for 6 months?

Our local paper is a shambles, with articles which look like they have been written by a dyslexic 12 year old. Today's article began;

"Wellens did not ccategorically rule out signing the Northern Ireland internationala Crason when quizzed about the link after Tuesday night’s EFL Trophy defeat at home against Chelsea U21s"

I just checked and the spelling errors are still there. PS, its Carson, the Motherwell keeper that they are tlaking (done on purpose) about.

Not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 new signings at the Moss today!

Connor Kirby as we already knew about from Wednesday, plus Corey O'Keefe (full back on loan from Brum), Reece Charles Cook on a free (GK formerly of Cov, Shrews) and Virgil Gomis
on loan from Forest (Forward who spent time on loan at Notts C last season)

Nice to have another forward but don't once remember him being mentioned last season.

Ex-Cheltenham keeper. Decent keeper but massively overrated at Whaddon Road because he wasn't the only player that was worse than shit in our relegation season.

Thing is, Morris started the first game and he is also our keepers coach.

When he originally joined it was as a coach and he only kept his registration going in case of injuries. He didn't realise that the two keepers in front of him were not able to kick or catch a ball and he went on to become our player of the season for the last two years.

I’ll say it again. The Adver came up with the best ever headline - intentional or not.

Reece Charles Cook must be the worst ever keeper to play for us.

Fumbling buffoon.

I suggest if you've nothing kind to say then just say nothing at all. You've completely spoilt the fun of wondering whether there's a complete howler around every corner.

Thankfully I expect him to be #2.

He’s a number 2 alright!

Enjoy this. Last minute howler after leading with 10 men for ages

Although no other keepers threw the ball into his own net.

Love him.

There’s been a lot of rumours about us resigning him this summer but obviously WBA want him to get L1 experience. He’s a very mobile and hard working player and likes to get forward. He can also play left back or right midfield. He’s technically good too.

That said, I believe he struggled at Walsall but perhaps he just fitted in better with us. He’s a top lad too so good luck to him.

Was very poor for us, didn't look up to the standard defensively and offensively he couldn't cross a ball to save a life. Went back at Christmas and to be honest I forgot we even had him last season, seemed to do well at Exeter and the review from Moomin is what we heard when we got him but he was pants. Might click for you and wasn't suited here with our previous coaching staff or maybe he just turns up for Exeter. Who knows.

Looks like it’s Hylton. Wellens has said Lang is a no go. Strang3 he’d be allowed to go to L2 again. Must be L1 clubs who’d be interested.

Waiting for Luton to sign a striker to finalise Hylton.

My guess is this wont happen anymore. We signed 2 forward players but they seem more attacking midfield/winger types than proper centre forwards like Hylton. Collins is clearly first choice but we'd need Hylton if he gets injured/suspended.

Hyltons also injured at the moment with a knee injury, yet another of the niggly type injuries he has got over the last year or so.

Told that Abo Eisa is joining Scunthorpe and on a permanent deal. Would be disappointed as he hasn't really been given a chance with us but from what I've seen from him, definitely a player in there.

Hurst knows him well, wouldn't be surprised if this gets announced later today!
