Nice. I saw Emiliano Rigoni on the train in Italy a few months ago.

Classic Bradford fan question. I would say Swindon are bigger than us. Bigger ground, slightly bigger average attendances, one of the few clubs in the division with a better league record than us over the past 25 years or so, bigger budget. Definitely bigger, but there isn't a huge difference.

Lovely job! Was he in a GTFC tracksuit?

I'm guessing he is/was a Grimsby player.

George Marsh confirmed on loan until January - He's a holding midfielder.

By the sounds of it from Carlisle fans Devitt has improved a lot since he was last with us.

Does he play Left Wing?

He can play left wing, but not brilliantly. If you sign Devitt, play him as a 10 or don’t sign him. Simple as that.

Ah ok!! Yeah you really upped the ante there. My turn.

When I was younger John Barnes ran past me at Centre Parks in Sherwood Forest (I think it was that Centre Parks, my memory is very hazy)
My turn, I met Phil Thompson last week and his nose is nowhere as big in person as it looks on tv. ;)

Jamie Devitt could do a job for us. We play with two “10s” in midfield. At the moment it’s Mayor and Sarcevic. Sarcevic just doesn’t have the quality to create a lot of chances, he’s more of a box to box midfielder. We could play Jose Baxter there though.

I think location could be a problem for you signing Devitt. When Swindon talked to him earlier in the summer, he was reluctant to leave his home in Manchester.

I would say that we are the favourites to sign him, for that reason

The Carruthers deal seems to be dead. We've signed attacking midfielder, Jack Roles from Spurs on loan until January.

Devitt could become the new Doyle. His wages are similar and hasn’t really done it except at Carlisle. That applies to whoever signs him.

He was quality for us on loan the first time and I think he got 20+ asissts for Morecambe one season.

We're about to make a signing. Might well be trialist Christian Mbulu. If he signs, he'll become our 4th choice CB.

Hoping for a striker to be honest.

Devitt was really good for us, and at Mansfield away I remember him doing star jumps in front of Mandfield’s wall to try and put them off when we were lining up a free kick.
Legend.

I'd love to have him back, hopefully Jim has had a word as they're still on good terms, highly doubt it though.

We desperatley need some kind of central midfielder though after Flemo's shock retirement, or someone who can actually create something aside to hoofing.

Signed a big powerfull forward Norwegian Chuma Anene on a season loan from Danish side FC Midtjylland. He's played in the top leagues in Norway, Russia, Macedonia and Kazakhstan. Probably the most random signing either. It will be either awesome or awful I've got a feeling.

I was thinking the exact same. Although, he might not play that much if Porter stays fit, so who knows how much he'll actually be able to showcase himself. If the grainy highlights posted by the Alex's website are anything to go by, he actually seems quite quick and has a good finish, although god knows if that'll translate to L2. Fingers crossed this turns out to be a stroke of genius on Artell's part.

Roles played in the Audi cup tour against Juventus and Man United. 8 goals in 19 appearances in the premier league 2 is not to be sniffed at. Spurs fans were expecting him to go to a championship or top end league one side so this looks to be a cracking signing on paper.

Great signing regardless of quality.

My favourite Jamie Devitt memory is when I went to back to back 4-1 defeats at Accrington so sacked the next one off and he put on a masterclass, inspiring us to come back from 2-0 down to win 3-2.

Lovely signing! Along with Ugbu from Crewe this one I massively approve of!
Radio Humberside broadcasted an interview with Ogbu before the match on Saturday. He's a bit more softly spoken and with a calmer demeanour than I was expecting. Came across well in it.

Yeah I remember that one, I thought that comeback might turn our season around.
Unfortunately not. :(

Sounds like one of Smurf's class of 2016!

I sat next to Arthur Mullard on the tube once.
