Josh Ginnelly signs on loan from Preston. If he does well, I guess its to be made a permanent move in the summer.

Walsall fans, whats he like?
Good player we lost him to Preston this time last year was sad to see him go worked well with Leahy here offers a threat going forward but also tracks back a lot and helps out his full back good signing for you mate.

Maybe also ask them for this weekend‘s lottery numbers as they must have special powers given this;

“Nolan, 18, failed to make a senior appearance for Reading after signing a professional deal in May 2018.”

Erm, we've signed Marc Richards :bl:
Had him on loan for a month years ago. Good player who knows where the goal is. If he's kept his fitness and desire to play, could do a cracking job for you. And he's younger than Aaron Wilbrahamovic...

Genuinely never heard of him. As long as he runs around a lot and kicks people, that’ll do for me. We’re far too frail and weak in midfield. Perhaps joethegill can advise?

Ah, Oussless!

He's massive and looks like he should dominate in that holding midfield role, but we discovered quite early that Alfie Jones is 5 times the player he is, so Ouss hasn't really had a chance. Would suggest that MK followers would have a better idea on his attributes than Gills to be honest, as he's only played a handful of times at the start of the season without impressing!

As you paid a fee, there must be something about him. Presumably also a large % of pay on value in case he makes it big and you sell him for big money.

Looks like we’re about to bring in Brennan Dickenson from MK on loan.

I remember him from his Colchester days, and prior to a bad injury he was looking like going onto big things. He seems to have gotten himself fit now but isn’t getting the game time he needs at MK. Good age at 26 so hopefully we can help get his career back on track.

He’s a LWB which we really need with Sparkes being out for the season. Randell Williams on the right and Dickenson on the left should see us create quite a bit for Bowman to get his massive head on to.

According to Radio Stoke looks like we are close to signing Jake Taylor on loan for the rest of the season. Would be excellent news if so. Hopefully get to see him and Manny in midfield together at some point.

I'd love to see him and Manny finally play together with Joyce... that would be quality...

Good news if true, apparently us and one other club want him but Forest happy with game time and of course Sproson his agent being a Vale legend helps!

Sentinel reporting it now as well. Deal agreed in principle at least.

Agreed I think that midfield on paper looks really strong with the added bonus we know Burgess is also a great option as well.

Was also a rumour on Twitter albeit I suspect its bollocks that we've agreed to sell Nathan Smith to Birmingham. Wouldn't surprise me if teams from a higher division have been sniffing around though. His performances certainly since Askey took over have been brilliant.

Rumours of a Birmingham approach for Nathan Smith. This would be a big loss unless we have a very decent replacement lined up.

They have no money/charged with breaking regulations again so are trying to offload, be surprised but frustrating we haven't sorted a new deal out for him as he is 24 a month before his contract ends!

One of my favourite Gills players of the past decade or so, should never have released him when we did.

Top player.

Good to hear. Now official and it’s a free transfer but only a deal till the summer. Assume we have an option to extend if all goes well.

Will be interesting to see how Danny Rowe gets on.

Aside from having a good shot from distance, where NL defenders give him the freedom around their 18 yard box, he's not a target man, he doesn't head the ball and he's not got any pace either. If he had any of those, an FL club would have taken him by now IMO. I think the game will be too fast for him at L2 level and he'll be closed down quicker. Fylde built a team around him, no-one will do that in L2. He'll have to muck in more than he's ever done.

Technically good, though.

Over the moon with the Dickenson signing. MK fans seem a bit gutted to see him go, as he hasn't really had a chance to prove himself. Had good reports from all Col U & Gills fans I've spoken too. Can whip a ball, beat players, score... Could be one of the best bit of business that Matt Taylor has done for us so far

Before his injury that season Dickenson was hands down the best left-sided player in this division, he was phenomenal. Would have definitely left for a big fee that summer had he not been injured.

Was never quite the same when he came back but it was there in glimpses. If he can get some form together then Exeter will be laughing.

ACL injury wasn’t it? Just shows how much that can send a player backwards....

Looking forward to seeing him play and I bet he’s looking forward to Col U visiting next Saturday!

Yeah, it was. If you speak to him he'll tell you that he sees himself as a more attacking winger, but when he came back and didn't quite have that explosiveness from before he was in and out of the team a lot and generally given more defensive responsibility I thought. Was starting to show signs of getting back to form towards the end of last season but his move to MK obviously hasn't worked out for whatever reason.

Think that one is just a bullshit Twitter rumour.
Not sure how true this is, but apparently our board wouldn't approve this signing and that there is some division within our heirachy - Kent Teague apparently didn't want Ross as Head Coach and there's been a few fall outs.

Ouss Cisse confirmed on loan until the end of the season as well - We've desperately needed a player like him.
