Josh Ginnelly signs on loan from Preston. If he does well, I guess its to be made a permanent move in the summer.

Walsall fans, whats he like?

Keeper Luke McGee in on loan from Portsmouth while Richard O’Donnell is out injured.

We were linked with him last week - apparently talks broke down because Pompey wanted a promotion bonus added to the deal. Nice to know they think we have a chance of going up...

Blackpool also wanted him.

Signed defender Micheal Nottingham on loan for the rest of the season from Blackpool.

For once we've seemed to have signed a player with decent reviews. Everything I've read so far seems good from Blackpool and Salford fans.

Left Back Nick Anderton signs from Blackpool while Aaron Hayden signs an contract extension until the end of next season.

Those two along with Max Hunt are all now contracted until the end of next season... what madness is this?

How's life under Coughlan going? Any transfer business done yet?

No business yet, he’s stamped his authority by saying two long serving senior players can leave though.

We’ve not had any supposed ‘new manager boost’ in the results, but the first 45 minutes last week were one of the best all season - nowt he could have done about the players bottling it, like Coughlan said they have already got two managers sacked for that.

Jordan Archer has joined Stockport on loan, looked immense on his debut but got a bad shoulder injury and barely featured since.

As i said in August, Hornby is a top keeper who would challenge for your number one spot. :err:

I'll get my coat.

Aye, that’s all well and good if said player wanted to play second fiddle to O’Donnell.

For Swindon Fans.
A copy and paste from our local reporter.

Meanwhile, table-topping Rotherham have yet to decide whether to recall striker Jerry Yates from his loan spell but are leaning towards allowing him to remain with Swindon Town for the rest of the season.
"There has been no decision," Warne said. "I'm just chilling out and letting my mate, (Swindon boss) Richie Wellens, sweat a bit really!
Yates, 23, has hit the net 13 times in 28 Robins appearances despite spending much of his time on the wing.
Swindon are now using him as centre-forward following Eoin Doyle's recall in this month's transfer window by Bradford City.
"Jerry has been playing out of position, to a certain extent, and has still been scoring," Warne said. "Now he has the opportunity to play up front.
"If we needed him here I would pull him back. But I know that where he wants to be is there. I don't want to reluctantly pull him back and not use him. I can't do that to him. I just have to see how my team is over the next couple of weeks.
"There is less pressure on me to bring him back because our strikers are doing really well. They're scoring.
"If we were just outside the play-offs and hadn't scored for three games the pressure would be much greater. At this moment, I'm happy as it is."
Yates’ Rotherham contract is due to expire the summer but the Millers have an option to extend it by 12 months.

Hmmm don’t bank on them not recalling him. He was doing great here at the same stage last season, rotherham and the player were happy with things apparently, we weren’t top but we were in form, top 4 or 5 and Yates was playing every week and doing well. Then out of the blue, on the morning of a match... recalled. Bye Yates.

That was after a couple of players they had on loan were recalled, so unless they've had the same thing happen this season then, and it looks like they haven't, then I wouldn't expect history to repeat itself.

The 3 players we have for 2 positions are Smith, Vassell and Ladapo.

None are on loan so unless they get injured I don't see Yates being called back this time.
Last year we had Procter and Vassell injured, in fact Michael Smith played the season out with a broken toe.

Morris was called back 2 week ago to go out to MK Dons because of a lack of game time and personal issues.

Warne has also said he is open to taking another forward on loan but only if he is first team ready and at least as good as the forwards we already own.

Of course anything can happen if a Championship club comes calling and chucks some money our way.

The reason he left us was because he didn’t want to be second fiddle!

He was never going to dislodge O’Donnell - was never going to happen. He came because of the opportunity and higher wages.

James Alabi has joined Eastleigh on loan until the end of the season.

Not confirmed yet - But I've been told we're going to sign Ousseynou Cisse from Gillingham - A holding midfield player that we badly, badly need.

Rowe will have a field day on Saturday against our shower of shite. He probably couldn’t have hand picked a better fixture for his debut. The worst team in the football league, with the softest defence imaginable, at home.

Genuinely never heard of him. As long as he runs around a lot and kicks people, that’ll do for me. We’re far too frail and weak in midfield. Perhaps joethegill can advise?

Fair enough, he signed for you pretty much the same time as he originally did for us and his 2 signings both came on the same day I think - 30th January.

No bounce for us either, in fact - the complete opposite

We're also trying to sign West Ham youngster Dan Kemp - A left footed right winger it seems.
