Quality player, more than good enough for L2.

Quick, good in the tackle, very fit, has a good cross on him. Everything you want in a modern day full back. Can also play centre half. Seems a good kid as well.

He can improve on his positioning and decision making, so that'll probs be why he isn't the standard Luton need for the Championship yet, but i'd be surprised if he doesn't make it eventually.

Agree with this. He certainly stood out to me in our games v Pools last season.

Not sure why it would be complicated. We're due compensation and we're not going to stop him signing elsewhere.

Looks like it's free with a sell-on clause anyway.

Now confirmed:

Be interesting to see who goes out on loan.

Seems Crawley and Mansfield were in for forward Armando Dobra from Ipswich but he has decided to stay put and fight for his place.

It's on the Tractor Boys website which for some reason I got notified about.

You cannot blame him for staying

Soup nailed it, the kid is quality, sticks in some meaty challenges, there’s a clip of him on here, leaving some Harrogate schmuck in a lump on the floor, was never going to be Championship level player after leaving us, but he has all the potential to be one certainly, excellent signing your fans should love him.

Now signed on loan with us until January.
Quality footballer, he'll get assists and goals if used correctly. By correctly I mean in a number 10 position behind a striker. So 4-4-2 is a no no for Devitt. Not sure what formation you currently play...

3-5-2 normally so what you say makes sense of Flynn’s presumed thinking. Tucked in behind Abrahams or Amond especially with Taylor our for a couple of months.

We've re-signed Odin Bailey on loan from Birmingham until January. Did well in a short spell last season until he got injured. Scored this belter at Grimsby. Lets hope he does more of that.

We're after Jamal Hector-Ingram from Derby
But then sign Micah Obiero from Huddersfield. Thought it was really weird that the club tweeted its interest in the derby forward this morning. We don’t usually do that.

Crawley have signed Jake Hesketh from Southampton on a season long loan.

Attacking midfielder come wide man.

I seem to recall he was going to be the next one off the Southampton production line. He got a couple of Premier league games (one against Man Utd) but has been out on loan three times before this and Southampton have now let him come to Crawley..?

Played 20 times for Lincoln last season. Any views Lincoln fans?

He'll probably be the most ineffective attacking player at your Club this season. He chipped in with a goal here but just didn't really do anything or impact the play. Ran around a bit, though.

I think he only played here because it was a free loan last season and Appleton was trying to get rid of Payne who would ordinarily have played in the same position.

To be 25 and still be at Southampton is a bit baffling.

That said, I think MK found him ok in L2.

Yeah, I presumed that this Hector-Ingram thing must be a done deal if we're tweeting about it, hopefully Obiero will do well though.

We have signed Adan George and Jake Scrimshaw on loan from Birmingham City and Bournemouth respectively. Both loan strikers that we aren't paying any wages for as Josh Gordon is injured till December.

Don’t underestimate the Jamie Proctor signing (overshadowed maybe by Devitt), very steady for this league and surprisingly skilful.

If I may, looks promising. Not played much as he was behind Eardley last season although did well in cups. Was expecting him to break out this season but hasn't been fit and Wales kept breaking him on international duty. Coming back from an injury, Wales played him longer than they should have done and he broke down again. Since TJ Eyoma has come in and done well at RB with Gotts able to be cover leaving him out of the squad.

Not been able to string games together but as said looked good in the games he did play, fairly attacking with a decent cross. Would like to take him back in January and give him 6 months before his contract finishes.

Agree with the above, a solid signing. He looked to be a good L2 RB in the limited game time he's had here since he signed back in August last year (5 appearances in just over a year in cup games). Aggressive, but not overly so, decent cross, puts himself about, decent speed etc.

Unfortunate that he had Eardley in front of him in the pecking order last season and pick up an injury early this pre-season. He got 45 minutes at Oldham in a friendly before heading to Wales U21's where it was agreed he'd play 60 minutes maximum and they played him for 90 and aggravated his injury and was out for more time.

Having then got himself fit he went away with Wales again last week and if I'm honest, and I've got nothing to back this up, I don't think Appleton was too pleased about him making himself available for Wales so soon after getting back into training and not sticking around here to try and get up to speed.

As with half the teams in League 2 we've signed a Birmingham City forward on loan until January - Jayden Reid.

Watching Derby v Watford tonight and notice Hector-Ingram is on the bench. So I’m assuming derby were expecting to sign someone to go into their squad so were willing to let hector-Ingram go out on loan, but for whatever reason they didn’t complete that signing so pulled the plug on the loan deal with us.

Very good signing. Works hard, great first touch and knows where the back of the net is. He was flying until he got injured last season. I was hoping we'd sign him but we already have four strikers.
