Good player, was a virtual ever present in our title winning side. Tends to play as a 10 or support striker, we used him behind our front 2 and he was pretty effective there, skilful, can beat his man and got an eye for a pass. Decent shot on him but could do with adding a few more goals, also not the biggest physically.

Signed Cammy Smith (Winger/AM) from Partick Thistle last night and Joel Senior this morning.

Derek can get the best out of crap players so will take third bottom at this point. Yann will obviously suit us better than at Bradford.

I like the look of our back line now though, especially after signing Senior. Another 10-12 players to go!

Few bits of info coming from our resident in the know.

We are close to signing a GK and a winger. GK rumored to be Jordan Smith from Nottingham Forest, although Stockport are also interested. No comment on who the winger might be, Jonny Smith has been released and would be welcomed back here.

Ethan Bristow subject to a bid from Minnesota in the US, with other clubs interested. Fee of around 300/400 K apparently. Very good player who will go onto to have a top career.

Josh Hawkes also subject to a bid from a unknown club, likely to be league 1. Our top scorer last season and a winger with an eye for a goal. Still a bit hit and miss though. Still a 6 figure fee likely, i would grab your hand off.

What a waste of space.

We were all set to sign Rak-Sakyi from Crystal Palace last summer until an injury to our starting RB. We brought in Oyegoke instead for RB cover and other than a bit of a physical performance against Cambridge which was only noticable because Lawrence was appalling, and then Watford where to be fair to him he actually did well, I couldn't tell you another good game he had. The euphoria around cutting his loan deal short was telling.

Hopefully, it's just a rumour then! We've got a really solid right back in Halliday so would be backup, I'd hope.

We’ve signed Mazeed Ogungbo from Arsenal - was on loan at Crawley last season and I think he was the lad that I described as a competition winner when they played at our place… hopefully that was just an off day.

He does get tackles in and is very energetic and enthusiastic. Your commentary team liked him in the match at yours last season.

I just don't think he is league standard. I sorta hope I'm wrong because of his enthusiasm .

I reckon you might start slowly pretty much on the back of your pre-season. You’re basically playing four youth teams, be miles off the kind of tempo and general sort of set up league games will be like.
