Considering our best striker was a Youth 17 year old making his first apps and he only really got game time from March time says it all! As great as the Dipepa story is its one mega area we need to vastly improve to challenge.

It's a bit of a myth really because he was hardly involved in it, we were already well in Ireland before he arrived because of our DoF and Chief Scout. We only signed one from the LOI when he was here I think (Mandroiu).

We haven't signed as many from the LOI as people think, but we've found it ok at L1 and at a squad player level at the least but amongst the best in Ireland (Mandroiu as an example) aren't top, top or stand-out in the lower half of L1 really, aside from odd performances.

The best thing we do is actually send our youth players over there because it's quite a gap in quality between the top and bottom sides so they get exposed to a lot more over there.
