A little trickle that we might be getting Paul Mullen on loan. Don't think it could be true but we are supposedly signing a 'name' before deadline. This has come from a couple of different people.
A bit of debate in Notts circles about whether we’d have him on loan. Some of the mental ones saying no. Fuckin ell I would.

Wrexham fans call themselves Town as well apparently.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Accrington have signed Devon Matthew’s from curzon

He’s been superb for them for the last 2-3 years being a big part of their defence which has been in the top 2-3 best of national north for a couple of seasons.

Deserves his chance and I like it when clubs gamble on non league players who deserve a go rather than look at usual bunch of failed FL players expecting that giving them their 15th chance may work.

But he’s been part time it will be a big step up but it’s his chance to have a go at least at accy he will get a chance

I give it 2 or 3 games before a section of our fanbase will be all over Twitter calling him shit.
I don't think he will even play that much will he ?

Will be bedded in slowly i reckon to try and get him up to speed - seems a big gamble 75k for someone who was playing the equivalent of regional football at best . Will be interesting to see how it goes

Been rumoured for a couple of months now, and a lot of chatter on socials from Wrexham fans that’s it’s done but we will have to see, we had Michael Smith in the bag apparently until 10:59pm last January window so will see.

If a loan it would be a decent move for us, we can probably afford the wage and would help our chances of getting over the line as he is one of the better league two strikers in recent years.

Don’t think he is league one level so a loan would be decent if true.

Brendan Cover on loan till end of season. He was at Port Vale prior - any good you Vale lads?
Good player, dropped off November onwards but so did the whole team, purely a loan termination due to Clark and John coming back from long term injury so not the game time for him.

No idea if anything in it but seen suggestions on Twitter of Connor Ripley possibly getting packed off to Swindon. Whether it’s got legs in it or not I think his time at Vale has reached its conclusion. Good keeper when his mind is right but not as good as he thinks he is also.
Yeah all very odd, excellent at Bromley, paper mache fingers against Bradford and then a disaster at Grimsby, rightly dropped then all of a sudden on paternity and we sign a new goalkeeper despite him only missing one game. Like Rippers but he’s made a few errors this season and not been at the level we’d have hoped.

Ben Close has gone to Eastleigh on loan for the rest of the season, hasn’t worked out for him mainly due to injuries, hopefully he has an outstanding rest of the season so we can sell him in the summer

He will play as a winger here so not too fussed that he hasn’t done that well as a wing back. I’ve seen some much more positive thoughts on him from Lincoln fans across social media so either you’re just being dead harsh or they’re all wrong.

It’s a much needed addition anyway as Berry/Markanday departure has left us light in those wide areas.
Sorry, didn't see this.

You can't knock his attitude, work rate or anything like that. We gave the lad a chance after picking him up from part time college football in Ireland and stuck by him during his betting charges at the beginning of the season and he'll always put a 100% in.

He's clearly not a LB or LWB but I don't think we saw enough of other attributes to suggest he would make it as a L1 winger any time soon either because there were occasions when we played with wingers albeit few and far between. If there was an inkling that he could develop further in 12-18 months then we'd have probably kept him around but there's not much point when we very rarely with wingers and his profile doesn't fit the squad.

Particularly for attacking players, L1 is a big step up as well.

Dylan Duffy, 22 year old winger we signed on loan from Lincoln on Monday, has today had his loan turned permanent for an undisclosed fee and signed until 2027. Looked promising vs Bromley tbf so looks decent business to me.
Initial fee touching £100k apparently with a hefty sell-on.

Mullin doesn’t feature for Wrexham today due to a shin injury requiring a scan… so either he’s on his way or he is injured so if it was happening it probably isn’t now!

We've signed Timothee Dieng from Gillingham for the rest of the season.

Can't say I know anything about him to be honest.

Carlisle United needed to either take the transfer window fully seriously or not bother at all.

We’ve improved the midfield, haven’t really bothered with our crap defence and have added completely unproven gambles in the final third. 3 forwards in with about 6 career league goals between them. Pretty poor for a club throwing so much money at it. Either try like fuck to stay up or don’t bother at all.

Still 2 days left of the window but I’m leaning towards the view of we shouldn’t have bothered and kept more budget for a complete clearout and fresh start in the summer and I include the head coach in that.

Was decent when we had him in League One. That was a while ago, though.

I'd seen £40,000 plus add ons, but also seen 600000dk on X which is about £67k. Not sure we'll get to know the exact figure.

The rumor is Oliver to Shrewsbury. I'll be delighted to get him off the wage bill. Goes down as one of the worst players I've seen to play in a City shirt. Worse than Theo Robinson.

Supposed to be signing Michael Reindorf from Cardiff. His CV. on Wiki shows two goals for Kettering but our recruitment is usually very good so we'll see but he's by no means even remotely sure fire cover for our only two strikers on the books.
