Rumours again Today Danny Johnson is going to Carlisle he's shown today he can still offer something at this level he'd do a job for someone.

Carlisle United needed to either take the transfer window fully seriously or not bother at all.

We’ve improved the midfield, haven’t really bothered with our crap defence and have added completely unproven gambles in the final third. 3 forwards in with about 6 career league goals between them. Pretty poor for a club throwing so much money at it. Either try like fuck to stay up or don’t bother at all.

Still 2 days left of the window but I’m leaning towards the view of we shouldn’t have bothered and kept more budget for a complete clearout and fresh start in the summer and I include the head coach in that.
Feel sorry for you guys. I’m assuming you’ve won less than 10 games over the last 18 or so months. We weren’t great yesterday but exposed your weaknesses especially when you were down to 10. Not sure about the first “dive” but your guy definitely dived for the second which was stupid considering he was already on a yellow. Probably changed the game and one that we would have thrown away 2 months ago if you had 11 on the field. I did like Whelan though. Good player. Good luck for the rest of the season

A bit of debate in Notts circles about whether we’d have him on loan. Some of the mental ones saying no. Fuckin ell I would.

Wrexham fans call themselves Town as well apparently.
I can't see Mullin going but I'm pretty certain Palmer will end up somewhere in this league tomorrow on loan. The club went out of their way to mention why Mullin wasn't in the squad yesterday but said nothing about Palmer.

Expect we’ll sign 10 more new players tomorrow to try and cover over the mistakes that have been in this transfer window.

Looks like the main focus before the deadline will be outgoings. Moore not exactly issued a denial on Connor Ripley departing and maybe see a few others like Conor Grant depart who just can’t get a look in right now. Guess we’d have been amenable to sending James Plant back out on loan but circumstances taken over there with Sang and Clark now facing suspensions.

Palmer is on a big wage, not sure who'll pay it in this division, MK perhaps.

Any Fleetwood fans on here?

You may be due some money. It seems Crawley are selling Quiterna to a top division side in Argentina (random as hell) for a hefty sum (rumours between £500k and over a mil). Not bad for a lad we signed for about £100k.

We should seriously be in for Palmer he'd be absolutely perfect for us the way we play.

He never scores though. He's a handful and a good team player so be ok for a team who plays 2 up front and has a goalscorer next to him I guess but don't rely on him scoring any.

Could be possible. They are flashing the Hollywood chequebook so a few of the lads from the NL seasons are now available I think, Palmer and Mullin or both. I think both would be good signings for anyone at this level.
We've got a bunch of players who would be decent signings for L2 and who I can't see featuring too much going forward. Mulls I think we will keep hold of though tbh.

Ollie Palmer
Jacob Mendy
Will Boyle
Luke Bolton
Anthony Forde

Sam Dalby and Jordon Davies will be free transfers in the summer. Jake Bickerstaff I can't see a role for but he's currently struggling in the NL.

I would take Jacob Mendy, always rated him. Is he over his injuries?

Soon it'll be Hellogregory and Carver alone in there own Cumbrian echo chamber

Carver takes the jibes in his stride to be fair to him. HG seems to have had a breakdown

That's probably because HG cares more and based in the world of reality. Carver is a fool living in dreamland. That's why he can take the jibes in his stride.

Stockport County.
Alan Nixon linking us with Tayo Adaramola.
Graham Alexander loves an Ex County player doesn't he?

He looked raw with pace, defending was suspect though. He didn't get loads of opportunities here.

You play wing backs don't you? LWB I'd be inclined to think he could do OK. If you play a back four and asking him to play LB I'd be concerned.

We’ve had a bid accepted for Mai Traore, Guinean striker from Fredrikstad in Norway.

If you want to get your bets in for next season’s top scorer early..

Some chatter about him coming to us, but it will only be if we pay a fraction of his wages.

We might pay more if Donovan Wilson leaves. Wilson is quick, strong, and can finish, at least he is about 2 games per season, the rest of time he’s a lazy half arsed fecker. Gills would be welcome to him. When he goes that will be last of the Hurst close season signings that wasted the FA Cup run funds.

King Rich Montague is only allowed to sign one African striker playing in Scandinavia every January as a special treat
