I wonder who is paying his 4.5 per week ? Probably we are still paying the bigger % -- But anything to get him off the books. One thing he won't ever play for Rovers again. Thanks Olly. Once a Gashead always a Gashead.
Ollie has indicated we’re not paying much. Reading between the lines other things didn’t come up for him which meant you and Bennett didn’t really have much of a choice but to take our offer.

I can imagine both yourselves and him are feeling a bit like you’ve taken home the fat girl at the end of the night. We’ll gratefully take all the action we can though.

To be fair to WBA, they're one of the, probably few, PL Club's who're loaning their young lads out for minimal wages, or some cases for nothing to help out EFL sides.

Mitch Clarke signs for a third loan spell from Leicester, absolutely delighted and sorts our right back issue for tomorrow.

Great news that Mitch Clark has been signed up now. I’m struggling to remember a player who made it so blatant he really wanted to come and join us as well which is nice to see.

If he can bang in a couple like that 30 yarder he scored the other week for Leicester’s development team even better.

Was funny... Gibbo out... fan tweets... Get Mitch Clark on the phone and he replied straight away "Hello" "lets get the band back together"

Two days later he is back where he belongs.

As good as Gibbo so a decent option and can play either side so an option when Gibbo returns for the left.

We're one of three clubs linked to Randell Williams at Exeter by Sky.

Seems like agent bollocks.

We’ve signed Kazaiah Sterling on loan from Spurs. He was highly rated a few years back now not so much after loans at Donny and Orient???

We’ve signed Hiram Boateng on loan from MK Dons until January. Just the type we need in the middle of the park with Digby. Very pleased with our summer recruitment I must say.

Great signing for Cambridge that, one thing I’ve noticed this season probably due to the cap is more teams are making impressive signings.

Were Grimsby not lecturing the rest of the division about big wage bills during a pandemic not that long ago?
Sad to read such a pathetic comment from a once likeable Carlisle fan who has really lost his way recently.

Location has probably helped in this one too though. He’s certainly good enough for league one but apparently just doesn’t fit the MK Dons system. Delighted with this signing, just a shame it’s not a season long loan.

At Doncaster he picked up a serious injury around a month into last season, he then joined us still recovering from said injury in January, but as soon as he was ready to play COVID hit and that was the end of that, so he never appeared for us.

Watched him play for Spurs U23s against us in a friendly in pre season, he is quick and tricky.

Think I’d rather that than you say he’s fucking shit so that’s a positive

Crawley to announce two new signings at 2pm....at Cheltenham???

Probably going to be two new sponsors because its bloody odd otherwise. Its bloody odd that we announce anything an hour before a tough away game. Surely the focus should be on preparing the team...or am I the odd one here ?

We’ve done it before as it give the opponents no time to prepare, signed Ryan Taylor back and it was announced when he was in the team sheet... scored the winner too!

I’m sure we once signed Craig Russell half an hour before kick off.

Totally weird announcement.

Crawley have signed Max Watters and Nicholas Tsaroulla.

Our manager announced it as "Nico...with a really Greek last name that I won't even attempt to say, a left sided lad".

"Max Watters a young forward who we believe has a lot of potential".

Tsaroulla was at Brentford b last season and Watters was on loan at Maidstone Utd from Doncaster Rovers.

Only half listening to Radio Cumbria, but what's this about Barrow being in for Jamie Devitt?

Not been mentioned at the Barrow end. It's no secret that an attacking midfielder is the obvious place we need to strengthen.

Probably "Lummy" chatting shite, as per usual.

Yeah I heard it. David Dunn says they are looking to sign him.

Barrow fans should be dancing down the street at that news. Absolute quality for this level, miles better than John Rooney who by all accounts they miss badly.

no it was David Dunn, says you've been speaking to him

Fair enough - shut off iPlayer the second the match finished. Surprised Dunn would say that, as he doesn't give much away at all in any interviews. By that measure, I'd say the deal is done then.

I had heard (was it on here?) that Devitt was all set to sign for Carlisle until the government said fans wouldn't be allowed back til next year.

yeah, although he didn't say as much, it sounded like it was just a matter of finalising a deal for him.
