Beat Burton 2-0 with two late goals) (Ball pen, Rodney.) Didn’t go, but sounds like we were the better team throughout and deserved the win. Whether this was because we showed increased competence, or because Burton are dreadful is another matter...

From people I know at the game it sounds like a fairly comfortable win and a good performance.
Fingers crossed its a boost for the league. Hope we can get an interesting draw next round.

We won that penalty shootout twice.
yep Farman saved for a 4-2 win, but the lino/ref said he moved off the line - the retake went in, we then had our 5th saved, but Blackpool's 5th is in orbit somewhere.....

Deserved our win against Hull. Margin should have been greater. We should have had a penalty and Chapman missed a great chance.

3-0 Up and someone flying a drone over Blundell Park: Ref has stopped the game and took the players off the pitch!

All sorted, won 4-0.
Said yesterday we were going to be taking it serious then makes 7 changes including bringing in a few kids. Oh well, I won't lose sleep over it and hopefully 3 points again on Saturday and it's justified.

Made a few changes and started with only one natural central midfielder, could’ve been 4-0 down after 25mins, changed formation and started to get into the game and had our fair share of chances.

Not so much-frustrated we lost as the better side did win overall, more so that we didn’t take any of the opportunities we had.

Not really a game we needed, but got some minutes in for a few players that needed them.

Beat the Gas 1-0. Nichols goal.

We had three shots on target! All from Nichols. Twice through on the keeper first time hits the keeper and the ball is cleared. Second time hits the keeper but ball bounces back to him to tap into the net.

We won so that's good. Gas had a half decent side out so that's good. We still are so slow in our build up so not so good.

Our side was very similar to what we would have put out last season. Only Addai, Nazeed and Conroy started from this seasons intake.

Hopefully, this will give the players a bit of confidence.

Yeah, I said earlier in the thread that you'd made more changes than us and we'd fielded a pretty strong team. Sounds like we played well which will not of helped your cause, closed you down and took our chances; you didn't have a shot on target apparently!

Next round is regionalised, so we want someone crap at home if possible, we can then get a lucrative away game in round 3 against someone in Greater Manchester or Merseyside.

And I don't mean Tranmere or Rochdale (for the lucrative away game)!

Sorry. Don’t get carried away..we are on another level of awful at the moment. Beyond parody. I’ve never seen us so bad.
Congratulations on the win however. Thoroughly deserved.
Thanks for beating us, it might speed up this clowns departure.

Echo my fellow Bantams, excellent performance and fully deserved win. Should do their confidence a world of good.

Crewe obviously made a lot of changes but still a morale boosting win that. First clean sheet of the season. Will be an entirely different affair when we play them in a month or so.

Much improved tonight by us by all accounts, I wasn’t there. I would like to hope this result will give us a boost and we start picking up some results in the league now. I’m going to stay as optimistic as I can, as it stands I still want him to go, but I would be delighted if he could turn this around and prove me wrong. I think more fans want him gone than want him to stay at the minute, so he does have a bit of a task on his hands, but tonight is a step in the right direction at least.

Can’t say much that hasn’t already been said - great evening all round.

When Hull went 1-0 up, I expected the worst. Great character, resilience and endeavour to see that game out - fully deserve to be in the hat.

Up the chickens.

Lots of changes to the team plus an experiment with the formation first half meant we looked out of sorts,Flynn changed it back to our normal formation second half and we looked better nice to not be spannered by swindon for once.

Andy Cook putting up some good goals:mins ratio stats early doors. Constantly has questions marks over him but still bags it seems. What's the deal Bardford fans? Is he gonna take Oliver's spot now? Or will Hughes try them together? Who started instead of Walker against Barrow?

I'll have a London 3rd round draw please. Although someone like Everton, Villa or Newcastle at home in the second round be decent.

That’s now 3 games in, zero goals scored, don’t look like scoring either. Things are turning toxic already. That side we put out last night was a piss take, wouldn’t be allowed if it was the Pizza Cup.

Lindsey under huge pressure already. There’s a weird rumour circulating that the club is up for sale again.

Cook has to start against Newport at the weekend - it’s a no brainer.

Oliver has struggled due to the lack of crosses. We play incredibly narrow, and at times, we try to walk the ball into the net.

It’s early doors, but the key difference between the two strikers is simple - ones a poacher and the other isn’t.

Is the draw still done at 4am in a Soi Cowboy strip club? Or have they reverted to drawing post match after all of this round is played?

Hoping for something interesting and fairly local away. Everton, Leeds, Villa (if they're deemed Northern this year).

It's straight after the Wendy Sunderland game.

They are doing it in my back garden this season: Bringing football to the fans!

I was there.

We were better than the last 2 games...but my goodness Burton were poor. Toothless up front, and prone to stupid errors at the back. Surely they will improve on last nights showing?

as for Dale... we did much better, and Odoh rightly given mom for a good shift including a mazy run leading to the penalty.

The crowd played their part too... only 1600 but made more noise than when we've got double that number.

Like everyone else; hoping for a good draw.
