Yeah, not sure why the gills following was called poor. I think they bought decent numbers tbh.
Damn straight

Couldn't see it mentioned here but 325 Scunthorpe at Coventry last night.

Awful723 Vale at The Bescot enjoying their win. Below par for them.
Very poor from Vale. Usually known for cracking away followings in local games.Awful
I was thinking this to myself! It was similar when we were last in this league and we got very poor home attendances for a few seasons and never really travelled away brilliantly. That was probably because we were going no where in league one and it was very boring. Then suddenly we were a big fish in a smaller pond in league two and our followings shot up. In my opinion, league 2 was a lot more enjoyable. We aren't going to get promoted from this division anytime soon and wont go down this season so every game seems a bit of a chore and for the last few months I've not been fussed regardless of the result! To me it felt like in league two we had something to strive for, the excitement was there.Really don't understand the current apathy at Vale. Even when they were nowhere in League Two they were always selling out all the local games.
That was the 5th biggest away following at Gillingham this season, clearly all teams in this league can't be arsed with travelling to you. Also, you can't compare 1,000 coming to our stadium with quality facilities on the opening day of the season with 321 travelling in winter to an open air away end. On top of all this, you lot had less than 5,000 home fans so to criticise the away support is rather unfair all in all.

I'd rather be at Priestfield than Stadium:MK any day of the week
Yes it was and equally your home support was poor too...as it always is.
Fair enough but judging by your turnouts at Stadium:MK compared to Priestfield, you're in the minority
Really?I'd rather be at Priestfield than Stadium:MK any day of the week, one has history the other reeks of theft.
We've not played at Priestfield in over a decade.
