Well it isn't as it puts us in the top 4/5 attendances in the league, above clubs with about 100 years longer to build a fanbase...plus Milton Keynes is only a town ;). .

You're 7th and if the figures removed the away attendances, you'd be even lower than that.

Are these good away followings? I don't know anymore :gmc:

None are good but Yeovil's is understandable.

The followings in this league were really poor midweek too.

It still won't sink in Fleetwood Town play in league one

Yes really, I hate the flat pack stadiums that seem to be popping up everywhere, I prefered the Hockey Stadium to the new MK stadium.

Me too, stadiums with no roof are just as shit tho as well

Depends on the weather, a baking hot summers day on the open end at Swindon isn't bad!

That stadium was atrocious but I loved it. The cowshed with metal plated flooring so you could bang your feet on it, quality.

Table I've been keeping over the season. For those without a magnifying glass, right click and open it in a new tab. Red denotes a weekday night game.

As deplorable as MK Dons existence is, if you'd rather sit in that shithole Priestfield away end than Stadium:MK then you're weird or a sadist.

Nah I'd do the Emirates, I went to Highbury but you keep trying to act pious.

Emirates is shit boring as fuck weve lost 9-0 on agg in the two games weve been there its just a bigger version of citys ground which is also piss poor with no atmosphere

Ha ha. Pot and kettle? I.m certainly not pious. I don't like what happened to Wimbledon but it's been and done (although a few people have said that retrospectively what has been created at Wimbledon now is a club with a great sense of community). That's also what happened, seemingly, at MK as well. At the time, I didn't like it, but life moves on. Decent club, decent fans, good football even if Robinson can be a bit of an odious prick.

Edited: Life's too short to hate or to consider "shitting in my hands and clapping" over something.

I wouldn't return to Stadium:MK , been there, done it, awful stadium as it's a replica of most new flat packs, has little in the way of a proper experience and I refuse to give that club my money.

You do keep acting pious, and making subtle digs, it's not really becoming of you.

I'd say I keep teasing. Pious would seem to be more your attitude. I'm saying 'live and let live' really: that's hardly piety.

I do agree about the stadium, but then that's increasingly the feel of many new stadiums, including our own. Lots of exposed concrete and acres of wasted dusty concourses.

The comments about MK Dons stadium do make me wonder which stadium in England most typifies the "old stadium"....rusty old steel pillars, low hanging roofs, terraces still existing underneath the bolt-on seating, disgusting urinals, peeling corrugated iron sheeting, holes letting the rain in? Most grounds have some aspect of that still, but are there any clubs where all four sides are a step back into the 1950s?

You say live and let live with regards to MK Dons, i'm hardly actively wishing them to go bust but I won't stand by and say they are good for the game given how they came into existence, sorry it's how i've felt since their conception. Although i've been hypocritical by giving them my money on two occasions.

Would say the closest ground to fit such a description is Southend but their double decker stand is quite modern. Luton's is up there too!

I don't think I've been to any where all 4 sides are in a state, but most of the County Ground and Selhurst Park look like they might collapse/erode away in the near future.

Brentford, Ipswich, Luton, Villa, Peterborough, Cambridge, Southend all have an element of old school about them in places.

Used to love going to Brentford in particular

Your a club on its way to complete disaster non league beckons

You're probably correct. If we go down this year, we won't come back up.

If we are in league 2 next year our home attendances will be about 4/5000 whilst Wasps get 15k+!

Not a dig but how come your attendences would drop that much? I know you're fed up with your club but so are a lot of fans from other clubs ... Portsmouth for example

Pompey are far from fed up, they are fan owned, hence the gates, had they been left life Coventry are their gates would be back below 10k imho.

As Jose said, they are almost on the up, whereas we have been on the decline for 15 years.

Pompey have been to FA Cup finals, have been in the Uefa cup and have had stints in the top flight in them 15 years. Their fall may have been significantly quicker than ours, but they have been able to attract fans unlike us. Nobody gives a stuff about the club at the moment, many have moved on to an in form Rugby club where the Ricoh is a far more enjoyable visit.

The Ricoh is horrific when crowds are as low as they are right now.
