Its apparently a great rugby venue according to people I know who go watch the Wasps.

Id give up if i was you sounds like people are going to watch some shitty rugby team from miles away instead of there own football team

You quoted yourself mate ;).saw

Anyway, while I'm not saying it has any great character, I disagree strongly with your comment about Stadium:MK being a replica of most flat-packs.

Most new stadiums don't have an open concourse, padded seats or two tiers with different stands on each side (boxes on one side) for a start.

Yeah, but that's like saying the Ricoh isn't flat pack because it has a 12,000 capacity exhibition hall, casino and hotels with rooms looking onto the pitch..

Realistically we aren't very good at building unique grounds in this country. Look at Germany, quite a few new grounds that are unique.

A very poor 432 at Scunthorpe for us. A few factors but not good at all.

None of the things you mention influence the design though...

Well it's like saying the fact we have a two tiered corporate stand is different to Leicester and Southampton etc.

2,936 Blades at Meadow Lane tonight. Amazing what a couple of wins can do...

Good from the Blades, average from Dons and Chesterfield. I sense a late season unrest and plunge for Chesterfield after the Doyle sale.

Ye so much for them bringing 5500 to us in the last game plus more in the home end to knock us out the playoffs

You sound disappointed.

No great surprise at tonight's turnout for our third trip to Scunny this season, and current poor form.

Do the Blades get nose bleeds past Birmingham? Three thousand on a Tuesday night is good numbers and yet I'm not sure I've ever seen a thousand down here on a Saturday. I suppose South Sheffield to Nottingham is only an hour.

Fair play to the Posh fans tonight, 200 or so it looked like, impressive given their current ongoings.

There is generally an element of pick and choose involved in away games given the overall cost of the day, it's only the very hard core who will go to every game, most of which were at Ashton Gate. With a few aways lined up, it was always likely that Notts County and Rochdale next week would get prioritised. Mind you, if we can keep this run going then you'd expect around 1,200 to go to Crawley a week on Saturday.

Without wanting to drag up an old argument, going back to the oldstadiums vs newstadiums debate, I think personally (admittedly I'm a little biased) that Deepdale is perfect. A great mix between tradition and attractiveness, all the facilities are now pretty new and when there's a decent crowd on, you can create a fantastic atmosphere as shown on Monday.

I'm a fan of Deepdale, a traditional football ground.

I'm glad the new AG is still going to be the traditional 4 sides, but with some new features implanted into it.

Molineux will always be one of my favourite all the stadiums, fantastic football ground.

I didn't really like Molineux, probably cos I was in that stupid side stand which is miles from the pitch and very difficult to make any atmosphere in!

Upton Park remains my favourite ground in England and the bastards are bloody flattening it.

Has two of my favourite ever away days there.

Upton Park and Villa Park are two classic older stadiums.

I think they plan to be playing at the Olympic Stadium by 2016-17.

Villa Park is good but I went there on a Tuesday night when it was pissing it down and we lost 5-0....it was only 3/4 full too.
