Remember going to this match at Springfield Park. Took a few thousand that day. What a goal from Bernie Slaven.

You sold 1800 tickets and had around 500 moved into a pen that i only ever saw used twice from people who had paid in the home end. Bolton the only other team to have been given the pen area as i don't think it had passed a safety cert. That had to be the worst ever football league ground.

Our average is going to take a hit which is a shame. Shrews, Bradford and now hearing Port Vale is being moved Saturday to mid-week. On schedule for 8 mid-week evening away games in one season.

Our game is the Friday confirmed... had to wait because had Sjoke got through last night we'd have kept our game on Saturday.

I have been at the club today and the fixture has been made into category C fixture for Saturday. The first this season at the DW to get that category fixture.

High risk of disorder so its police grading for a fixture. There has been trouble this season with Blackpool & Shrewsbury and a few incidents away from home with Wigan fans so I am guessing the Port Vale fans must have been playing up somewhere to.

Possibly we've had a few high profile incidents especially in games where we take a large following (or a large following comes to us) I dare say a few of our less law abiding supporters may come up.

Manchester first for a few sherbets, along with 7000 Leeds going to Bolton and a couple of thousand Hull going to Bury. Just as well United or City aren't at home.

Manchester sounds like a great place for a drink. I am sure the Leeds fans will make you feel most welcome.

Drinking in the railway and clarence (Harrys) when you have fine watering holes is a bad judgement call and one you need to take responsibility for. Why would anyone even go in them holes? I suppose its cheap but nothing else to add positively.

Not surprised. Bit of history between us the last time we played regularly. Been Wigan a few times on the train, seen plenty of Vale lads drinking around the town but never any trouble at Wigan. There were a few massive kick offs at our place though, once in Tunstall it went mental, and when we played on Boxing Day (think it was the season Wigan won the league early 2000's) it went crazy outside the vine. Think a few Vale lads were sent down for that one. There's been other occasions when it's just been handbags, but around that time Wigan would always show up at Vale, or Stoke.

Im driving and lazy so planning to park in the away end and drink (1 pint obviously) in the away fans clubhouse! Proper animal me!

Other than Southend the only League One ground im yet to do so looking forward to it. Think last time we played at Wigan we were bottom on 0 points after 4 games and Wigan top on 12 and Ian Armstrong won us the game with a stunner from range to set off a winning run. Cracking footballer was Armers but injuries plagued him and his career ended early... turned out he was Kerry Katona's long lost brother when she traced them a couple of years ago.

Oldham will bring 1200 plus, always brought over 1000. Even when your so bad you bring a decent following.

Just looked at our next 5 aways. Shelf United we have had slow sales and the prices are decent. I think we will take 1200 there. Then we have Walsall which is going to depend on how results go. but would imagine this would be around 1400 if we are challenging the top two then I honestly believe we will struggle to break 100 at Millwall on a Tuesday night.
At home we have Vale, Oldham and Bury which should all bring 1200 plus based on what I have seen so far. Bury is the unpredictable one but should imagine they will break 1000

We brought 1200 for the cup game on a Tuesday night. I'd expect at least the same if prices are decent.

I don't normally post in this thread as number of football fans at match generally doesn't interest me but nearly 500 at Swindon today was a pretty good following I thought by Barnsley.
