It's a simple question mate, no need to get defensive.

Eh? I'm not getting defensive. You would need to attack me first. (confused)

I still don't fully understand the point of your question. Did you mean on this forum or in the stands?

Both......

When Wigan were struggling you couldn't find em on forums but a sniff of success and you're out like Julian Clary in a gay bar.

We can all see how you've grown as a club and whilst it may stick in the craw of some, ie bankrolled, you aren't the first and won't be the last.

It's a straight forward question, if you do not have a straight forward answer for me then would you mind not quoting my posts as I have several ongoing conversations on this forum and they are mostly more pressing than this one. Ta.

A winning team gets people going. A losing team doesn't. Same for every club.

Strange. Our attendances have dropped over the last few years for obvious reasons. How come you think we have more all of a sudden?

Your attendances have dropped to a more natural level in line with the size of your town and club.

OK simply put, why are you such a set of fickle c***?

You talk as though Wigan are the first club to be relegated and there attendances drop. Happens to all clubs. Why single out Wigan?

I'm hardly singling you out, it does happen to many clubs but not many go from 25k to 9k in three years

25k? You need to check your facts and then come back to me.

My mistake, you averaged around 19k over your PL years, the point still stands you've lost 50% of your support in 3 seasons, sad!

Maybe a better way of putting it would be - where have all the Wigan fans now posting on this forum been up until the last couple of weeks? Couldn't find a single one back at the start of the season, and now they're multiplying like Rotherham fans.

Most away allocations in the prem were sold out at he DW. 5500 away fans.

If you are going to compare attendance drop then I suggest you compare the drop with our average home attendances.

I'm sensing that you dislike Wigan. Which is probably why you jumped in on this conversation. What is the cause if your dislike? Our recent success? Genuine question.

All your attacks have been flawed so far. Might be worth calming down and stick to factual digs.

I doubt you got 5.5k in the DW most games. I suspect that it averaged out to 3/4k which still means you've lost circa 45% home fans.

Your net home average is 8,259 this season.

I'll take your word on the percentage drop.

What is an acceptable drop? How does that compare to clubs who have gone through similar relegations in recent times?

Coventry, Sheff Utd, Leeds United?

Then explain why there are fans of clubs that aren't as successful as Wigan have been over the last few years that do regularly post in numbers?

All three never dropped that amount, Leeds despite 15 years of shite average 3 times what you lot do.

The might Leeds united? A huge city club dropped 33%?

Coventry 20k to 10k. 50% another city club.

Sheff Utd 30k to 18k. 40%

Think I've made my point. :)
