The might Leeds united? A huge city club dropped 33%?

Coventry 20k to 10k. 50% another city club.

Sheff Utd 30k to 18k. 40%

Think I've made my point. :)

A lot longer than 3 seasons and none on the back of a cup win!

our crowds have dropped 1500 and we are in a higher division !!! The reason, simply people want to watch a winning team and success. Promotion brought them all out, mid table mediocrity bores everyone even in a higher league.

You're clutching at straws now. I've proved that our drop in attendance is quite normal.

So you were wrong.
Not really fella, yours have dropped over 3 seasons on the back of lifting the FA Cup.

I notice you didn't name clubs that don't fall into that criteria like Wednesday, Leicester, Norwich, Forest etc

Your crowds were wank in the prem though. If you went up now and came back fown to league one you would also drop from 30k home fans to less than 20k. So would leicester so would forest. Only norwich sell out home games in any league.

"wank" or a different era, it's 16 years since we last played there pal. I don't doubt they'd shoot up and back down but lets be reyt our worst attendance average in this era was just under 18k.

You can name who you like pal. It doesn't really matter if those clubs attendances increased. The fact is, our decrease is in line with other historical stats. Bradford was a decent comparison. Almost identical.

You talk about our FA cup win like it should add an extra few thousand on. That's just your opinion. Not fact.

I've seen your type before. You say stuff, get proven wrong and still stick to what you said. Its your attempt to save face.

Everyone's seen that you are wrong. Best to just admit it. :)

How was Bradford a fair comparison, they spent two years in the top flight with no success, you had top ten finishes, Cup finals and spent a fair amount of cash.

PS they average double what you do now.

You aren't going to admit your opinion is wrong are you?

You just keep coming back with fluffy responses. No substance.

Ok. Lets try a new approach. What is an acceptable percentage drop before clubs fans become "fickle c**ts"?

No because my "opinion" isn't wrong as it is my opinion it's also not factually flawed.

Losing over 40% of fans in 3 years is fickle.

Now go enjoy your beamback....too scared to travel to Millwall eh.

Just on the way back from Euston to Manchester then got a drive back to Wigan from there. Not sure how many we took tonight but it looked just short of 300.

Just laughing at the comment above on where have the Wigan fans come from. I mean it's a league 1 forum and we have only just dropped into league 1. How unusual that is.

Then the Sheff Wednesday fan loving league 1 forums.

Oh and from another post - Bristol City are much bigger than Wigan Ath.

We have been posting since we came down. You have only just popped up on here. It is crazy though. A team dopping to league 1 and their fans appearing on a league 1 forum. Baffling that is.

Fair play to Colchester fans travelling. Good win to.

3 hours on this train to Manchester now. Sounded like a good plan earlier on this trip.
