You can do it for £10 at the moment on a Northern ranger if you've got the tokens out of the local papers. This crops up for a few weeks every now and again.

Aye but the game we had over there was on February 20th, and they didn't have the offer on that week!

Since when is going via London expensive? Costs me about 5 quid (yes five) with a rail card to get from Euston to Coventry.

With a railcard it cost me about 25 quid to get to Sheffield from London in December.

Some of us are too old for railcards...! I agree that you can make a saving if you have them, but it was still £14 from Maidstone to London when I did have mine, and that's before you have to pay to a) get across the city (which is v expensive for what it is), and b) get to wherever you need to get to on top of that. It's not a cheap process.

How old? You can get an old persons card for the train too. :)

There are so many railcards which cater for people. Get a two persons one with someone you go to all the games with.

Can get to london for fuck all on some selected trains especially the megatrain site for midweek trains. The 12.29 in 2 weeks on wednesday is a tenner and the 23.30 back to donny is £11. I very rarely book advanced trains though for example millwall next week il just pay on the day its about £50 with railcard im more than happy with that tbh.

I'm now 26 so recently out of the 'young persons' bracket! Bit depressing really...

You could of bough a young persons all the way up to the day of your 26th bday so you get it till your 27

You need one of these : http://www.network-railcard.co.uk/

Will only cover you for the southern games however.

Very handy this but not for the current L1

If you're not getting the 3 year 18-25 railcard just before your 25th birthday well then more fool you.

To be fair I was a little bit distracted at the time due to losing my dad....but you're right. Big regret!

Won't be many of Donny at Bradford tomorrow, I reckon 300-400. One reason is we are dogshit at the minute (as we have been for most of the 35 years I've been watching them tbf), the other reason is many are boycotting due to an alleged agreement between the clubs to charge £15 at each game but Bradford, I believe have now said that there was no agreement as far as they were concerned. There was talk of them laying on free buses but I haven't really took much notice so not sure if they have or if it will make much difference. I not going but not because of any boycott as work calls, shame as I don't mind a few beers in Bradford.

Top day/night out. Went last season for the Fleetwood game, stayed overnight after the game. Went in castle Saturday lunchtime, as you say it's a cracking pub although kicked off with Donny & a load of Stoke lads who were apparently on a stag do before the game.

As much as those followings are commendable, I can't help but remind you that people will remember these comments when you are in the bottom 6 of the championship and you have a trip to Bristol City this time next year..I think most would wager extra allocations won't be required then.

When we went Fleetwood in September the Castle was rammed at 12-00pm , full of Vale and Wolves who were at PNE. There was a DJ on who was basically a chubby brown type comedian, ripped the piss out of everyone though one or two yam yam's threw toys out of the pram , i think Wigan may well get 5k. We have taken 4K to Blackers before.
