So Rovers and Swindon fans have to pay again for the rearranged game after Saturday's was called off.

Utter rubbish if you ask me.

Surely not

Yep, 'policing costs' given as the main reason - yet when we had the same situation with Wycombe away being abandoned (Wycombe mind, no offence to em but much smaller crowds than Swindon) they gave a full refund.

Appears fans are entitled to half price tickets for cup games and even play-off games which are abandoned, but the League has no set regulations for this sort of thing.

Outrageous. Can understand no refund, but surely original tickets should still be valid. Both Swindon and Rovers fans should boycott the game.

Agreed, it's pathetic.

I could understand if they made it 1/2 price for those that were there Saturday, but not full price.

And no it doesn't impact me as a ST holder we don't have to pay.

1,000 sold for Bolton away next month. Tickets gonon sale to ST holders next week.

We've received the second batch today.

Should be a decent following.
So who bought the first 1000 if they were not on sale to season ticket holders until next week?

There's a priority ticket scheme (£20) in place for first dibs, we're over 3,000 sold now. I land in Manchester at 7:40 the morning of the game from LA, 99% of me says I'll probably be asleep later that day but there's the nagging 1% that says stuff the jet leg to sing 'Parky Parky what's the score' when we go 3 up ;)

Brought my tickets for Bury v Vale today and we have sold almost 900 so I would expect at least 300-400 pay on the gate, therefore, I would estimate approx 1200 Valiants at Gigg Lane

A disappointing 499 City at Millwall this afternoon.

We took more to MK on a Tues, and there was a beamback.

I wonder if 3,000+ shelling out £26-£30 per ticket at Bolton has anything to do with it. Can't see us taking many to Gillingham next week, either.

Roll on the local away days. :D

Firthy is right in that our support is very fair weather - we are capable of taking good followings to most places, but also of poor ones too - like today, no excuses, 499 is definitely below par.

I was surprised how low it was - I think we took a fair bit more there last season for the 0-0, when we weren't doing as well/playing as nicely as we currently are. Strange. Suspect if we stay near the top for a few more weeks and onwards, the away followings will be consistently better.

Can understand the suggestion that we'd have 7k without the cheap season tickets given that's what we were getting when we went down to L2 - but we've had them for a fair while now, so actually hard to judge what numbers would remain if the cost went back up.

The owners have suggested they want to keep the 'affordable football' approach though, so unlikely we'll find out anytime soon!
