Completely off topic but are you going on the plane on Wednesday with the team for the bargain price of £660. If someone actually pays that they need there head looking at.
Not a fucking chance. I'm not going to the game regardless.

Bit of a shit one for midweek. I'm gonna Shrewsbury that's bad enough. Got a terrible midweek fixture list this year us. Shrews,Bristol r,Southend,Swindon and Oxford is on fa cup 4th round day. I suppose it's best to get them midweek as not many go on a Saturday anyway.

Boo hoo. We've had you and Norwich on a Tuesday night, still Preston, Leeds, Ipswich and Villa (assuming one of us are in the fourth round of the FA Cup) to come in midweek. Our away numbers will be way down this season unless we're top six.

Typical bury fan overstating the away following - it was actually 1,780
The official figure was literally 2,176 I've seen it everywhere and I'm not the only fan who has mentioned that figure if you read the thread. Not seen 1,780 anywhere apart from you.

Also, how is overstating (which I haven't in this case, look it up) an away following being a 'typical' Bury fan? Its hardly like we brag about taking 190 to Peterborough is it.

God you Rochdale fans really are bitter and weird, enjoy your win instead of calling us scum etc, your forum is embarrassing.

Funny you should mention overstating attendances anyway, Rochdale conveniently stopped publishing theirs when they were getting sub 2,000 gates at the start of the season, and are reluctant to release away figures.. wonder why... Bradford and other clubs have found Dales 'official' away gate dubious, as did we last season in the FA Cup when we pre sold more than the 'official' away attendance even with pay on the day

Why? We have injuries all over the place and have been getting dicked by everyone. We are relegation fodder

You must have become a Gills fan all of a sudden UTS

OK. If you lot can forward the entrance fees for the extra 396 fans, without adding to your CCJ collection, then you can claim what you like...:-)

I'll happily take 2nd spot behind you anyway. Suit me perfectly.

Agree, 2nd spot is fine.

We don't want the play-offs though.
Mentally for many Blades mention the words "in the playoffs" and it's as though we've already accepted our fate and lost.

Getting into a playoff final is a real mind fu***. We know we'll lose but maybe this is the year we break the hoodoo of losing our last 10 post war consecutive big matches played at Old Wembley. Millenium and New Wembley. I've thought about boycotting Wembley but it's the fear that they might win and you're not there so see history.

303 sold for Milwall tomorrow. This will be one of the worst turnouts for us as only real option is train (interesting getting the last train back) or travel club, anything nearing 500 will be good from us

Still not bad that.

Might just sneak 4 figures as we can pay on the day so no reason anyone would of got tickets today I suppose I'll be paying on the day anyway.

Bit of a cock up with our tickets for Coventry tomorrow. They sent us 1,400 and we sold out before Saturday's game, so a lot of people couldn't get tickets over the last few days. There's going to be a lot of pay on the days.

Probably be 2,000 or just under I'd guess.

Don't understand the cock-up?

You were given 1,400 tickets and then sold them.

Were the best fans/per number at Valley Parade last season, would expect you'll be in the side stand tonight along the pitch

I'm still yet to do VP, last season I got up to Bradford to have 3 pints in the Bradford Arms then head home, fun day.

My 1st ever away game was at Valley Parade in the 81-82 season.
Both teams were doing well in division 4 (our only season in the basement). It was televised on ITV and we won 2-0.

Remember standing behind the large uncovered area behind the goal. There were 2 fences down the middle splitting it in half with a no mans land in between.

Homes fans in 1 half and away fans the other.

I remember being entertained at half time when fans were throwing this big lump of wood (like a log) over the fence at each other.

I also saw us beat Bradford City when we played you at Elland Road in the mid 80's.

I was at both games. The first one spent half the match avoiding bricks, bottles, snooker balls, coins etc. Our away strip that year was brown and yellow stripes ( yikes !) although my mate loved it. Always seems to be trouble when we play Bratfud, at home matches against them the area around the railway station is under military operation, it's like a police state.

Wonder what reception Stuart McColl ( spelling) will get ?

Not sensitive about it, just correcting something that's wrong, bit of a difference. Anyway I agree IF you were to need anything at MK there would be huge demand for it, but no way would they give you 15k, you would get what Wolves had the other year. Think it was around 8.5k, and if it was a promotion decider you would sell em and could sell more. Other clubs fans on here may mock but I have no doubt you would.

His premis is right though Walkley Owl you lot are/were obsessed with attendances a few seasons ago, e.g. Radio Sheffield " I want to praise Wednesday " (presenter) "the performance today" ? " no the fans there were (insert number, e.g 40 million) of us today, we're MASSIVE"

The cock up is that they underestimated the demand. I believe the end holds 2,800, so they could have sent us more tickets in advance therefore reducing the likely queue tonight.

Wonder if Scholes still thinks they'd only manage 250 to Stockport!
I like scholes but the way he uses us to big up Salford city is bizarre. I've been watching plastics since 2003 and e usually take 2000+ when we play them. Ginger wanker.
