After watching our best performance in 5 years don't you think it's reasonable to be excitable. Did Blademan89 go? He'll tell you fans were coming out of the ground in shock yesterday.

We scored 8 goals yesterday with 4 goals disallowed. 2 really contentious with the ref admitting that Flecks disallowed goal was a mistake and should have counted.

BUT OF COURSE 1 game doesn't mean anything. It's how a team performs over a season that counts. Also Vale have a really poor away record so it was probably the poor opposition.

Sheff Utd were very much disliked for many years when Warnock was manager and even after he left it didn't change much amongst Championship teams. Also the Tevez whinging didn't help as many fans thought we were making feeble excuses about West Ham's technical cheating.

In league 1 there are no rivalries so we're not disliked in this division.
Also we've stopped showing any big club arrogance a few years ago. We now know our place in the 3rd division and I think other fans in league 1 appreciate that.
