Easy victory last night. Vale will feel unlucky with the sending off, but from the Main Stand side it was quite clear, as was the penalty. Thought Vale did much better in the second half, and slightly disappointed that we took our foot off the gas so much.
Hope the Vale player isn't as badly injured as it looked.

And UTS can fook right off. Dale may be hopeless when it comes to support from the town, but we'll have finished above little old bury in 8 out of the last 10 seasons now. Just a shame our Council has had a policy of importing penniless folk into the town for 30 odd years, which has ruined the community.

Just try to breathe a bit deeper and remember bury's past glories.

Kjell has apparently snapped his knee whatever that actually means! Gutted as he's been the most reliable of our left backs with Tanser woeful and Kiko too attacking (i.e. very latin as a left back)

Finishing above Bury is the only ambition Rochdale have. How many times in the history of the two clubs have Rochdale finished above Bury? Is that 8 as well?

Last time Keith Hill left Dale they went from 8th to 24th, with them in 22nd the season after in L2 before he came back. We might be shit but atleast we don't owe our whole existence to one manager with a fanbase shitting themselves whenever a vacancy appears.

I really don't know why you let it bother you so much.

You seem obsessed with Rochdale, not sure they give a shit about Bury to be honest. Not on here anyway.

Rochdale have done very well indeed considering they could only pull 3500 fans in at a quid it shows what a job Hill has actually done. Built a team over a few seasons that's now pretty solid and regular top ten finishers punching above their weight.

If only we had done the same with our half decent squad last summer!

Over 2k sold for Charlton Sat would be nice if we could sell out the whole stand which holds about 3.1k right? A win last night might of been the catalyst for that but expect we will be about 600 short. Embarrassing that we can take this to Charlton but only take half to Millwall because it's scary Millwall and every away fan gets the crap beaten out of them.

Bit more than that, closer to 3.4k.

Coventry have made it cheap in the home seats for Saturday but not extended the offer to away fans.

We had 3157 at the valley that was sold out. Allocation was 3200 odd I think.

Fair enough.

Not going this season I've not really paid much attention to allocations. Were some blocks closed off? The stand definitely holds around 3,400.

Good support from Bolton, like Wigan, funny how a few wins can bring all the fans out of the woodwork.

Next season it will be back to their usual 250 to Cardiff, Reading, Ipswich etc. 9 contracted players for next season isn't it?

You mean like nearly all clubs, away support increases when you're doing well? Who'd have thought it.

Not that I need to bite, but I will just for arguements sake - Last season, we picked up just 4 points on the road, in a spell that saw us not win away for well over a year. Still, we averaged over 900. I think that's quite commendable.

Then the was the infamous 1987 incident when a Vale fan was badly cut up

I remember that, I was 5 at the time and it was my first experience of football mither. S**t myself. The railway stand was the only seated area so I was in there with my Dad. Your lot got pi**ed off when Walker scored a winner in the last minute and the old wooden seats started flying over the barrier at us. Here's some clips of the mither and the game on you tube, including the funny moment the Bolton commentator smiles at the camera. The bloke that was slashed shares the same surname as me, not related though.

As mentioned above, no one really knows the allocations given for both Bury and Sheff Utd, however less than 100 tickets are left for Bury at the weekend. Family and Cemmy End equates to around 3,000ish, so that should be a sell out at some point tomorrow.

Sheff Utd, sold out. Took longer than I thought it would, but still, circa 2,500 sold weeks in advance for a dinner time kick-off on SKY, not too bad IMO.

ST news, because I all know you're eager to know the latest:- the club are panicking over struggling to accommodate families for next year, given the current lack of space. Sales have passed 17,000, which 2,500 ST still to renew. Parts of the ground have gone on sale, of which are generally only open as last resort! Interesting, huh?

Tune in next time ........maybe next Monday!

If we've not given you the full 3k it's beyond a joke why the fuck would we need to block 5/600 seats off on a completely seperate stand, we already have seats blocked off on our own stand. In the prem and for years after many clubs had the full 3k with none blocked off. I'm not sure it will be a complete sell out in our end looking at ticket sales it should be really though.
