Bury sold out.

Missed out on both Sheff and Bury tickets, my own stupid fault.

Rochdale away follows shortly afterwards.

Can't imagine Dale won't sell out unless we lose next 5 games and completely drop out the play-offs. Or we are confirmed in the playoffs but have to go to Southend or Millwall and people give it a miss to save some brass.

Surely you had no intention of going to bury if it's sold out a day before the game. Or to ours considering you thought it would sell out quicker.?

Tbh, it wasn't so much the bury game. All the lads I usually go with aren't going, but they're going to Sheff Utd instead. I decided late on that I'd go to Sheff on train, but then it was confirmed as sold out.

Bury, again, no one to go with :(

Strikes at Northern Rail tomorrow makes the journey a pain.

Fair enough. You might get more tickets for ours if we've only given you 2.4k or so anyway but no idea if you've had the full 3k or not?

2,537 Bradford fans - although they should be deducted about 5 from that total as they were kicked out - pretty normal you'd think but three were a dad and his two kids :eyes:

Congrats blademan.

Probably a bit early but what are your fans thoughts for next season? No reason why you can't push on, some dross in that league.

We expect to strengthen and have funds to compete well. So we should finish comfortable mid table.

But Chris Wilder seems to have this Midas touch, he has really turned the club and I've never known the fans so united.

So do we dare dream to think what could be in store. At least there's no expectation or pressure for promotion next season, so we can just enjoy it.

Robins seems to be doing a decent job at Cov, shame he wasn't appointed earlier BUT at least it makes next season interesting and raises expectations.

743 vale fans at chesterfield hopefully be 743 less than that at the next away game at oxford which will be another standard away defeat.

You'll be lower mid table at best, you need to strengthen everywhere. Hopefully we don't play you mind.

Our midfield is up to it imo other than that we may be struggling. Both full backs I suppose may be bottom half standard. I hope I'm wrong but I don't think Billy will be up to it. I'm sure we will strengthen anyway maybe the Prince might start parting with a bit more cash now.

Really? I couldn't name your midfield never mind rate, that's not being a c*** but I've no idea. A front line of Clarke Lavery and Sharp is comedy gold.

I reckon Fleck and Duffy will be fine, possibly O'Shea as well I reckon he's proper decent. A lot of Blades fans are like we were, thinking we'd carry on in the championship where we left off in L1 and look how that ended up. Also, it's subjective, but I believe our side was better than theirs, and the league is getting stronger year upon year.

I thought Bradford had sold out that's 600 shy on a sell out.

No idea why they don't give us the extra 2 or 3k what will be empty between our fans and theirs. I don't expect home fans to start being moved from their seats at all but we could still fit another 2 to 3k in without causing any issues for the home fans. If it's police advice and they are worried about pitch invasions etc it's not gonna be much different with 7k or 9 or 10k is it.

Blademan,
I knew there was a big risk that this match wouldnt make general sale, know loads who can't get tickets.

I've been in contact with the MKD box office since last week expressing my concern about their inadequate allocation bearing in mind they will be about 13,000 empty seats.

Spoke to 2 different managers and both told me that the decision to only give us 7,250 tickets was based them not wanting more away fans than home fans.

They then said additional tickets are available to away fans above the 7,250 in the corporate facilities. So I've already bought my 3 tickets (thank God) last week direct from MK Dons FC. They are charging £65 per ticket included a 2 course meal and programme in the away end, colours allowed. Also booked a room in the MK Dons Hilton hotel at £85 b&b and bought 2 season tickets at the weekend so a very expensive weekend for me BUT well worth it.

Another option is £100 per ticket in the main corporate lounge, a neutral area with a seat near the directors box, no colours allowed, including 3 course meal, tea and coffee at half time, free parking etc.
