Yeah but you lot are reyt fickle c***...

Tell me about it. However there aint many that would get just under 20k in there 4th year in league one with a 1700 away average too including yourselves in another average season

What's the big deal?

Everyone knows Preston could sell out easily if their fans were up for it, they took 3K to Colchester so are more than capable of selling out Chesterfield.

It's obvious their fans are on a downer and spirits are low.

Nothing wank about it. Everyone is the same when following their football club.

People 'having a go' at Preston for not selling out when the reasons why are obvious.
Seeing as we had a higher average with them - surely everyone should know that if the game had something riding on it, we'd of sold out.

Same in both cases really.

That is a piss poor number by PNE whichever way you dress it up for just over a 90 minuite drive.

I don't get all this depressed fan shite. Nobody has a god given right to go up, you may have fucked it up on Sunday but you still have a huge opportunity for promotion. I would of expected them 2000 tickets to be snapped up pretty quickly for a club Prestons size.

Well they weren't were they? can't speak for anyone else but I couldn't be fucked after that utter shite on Sunday

Previous results and expenditure effect attendances, even 1st leg play-off games.

Fucking up 9 play-off attempts and winning zero of them always helps to boost numbers too, Rotherham last season was fucking ace.

Was quite funny when the pne fans ironically cheered our attendance but fell instantly silent as soon as their piss poor away following was announced.

If you'd have supported your team , you'd have heard it.

Is that a no?

It's a good job the home ends sold out so all your fans got to witness it. You sold out right?

I was there, I couldn't even hear what the announcer was saying tbh. Didn't even know he announced our number.

To be honest I thought the attendance was poor all round. Just didn't get the ironic cheers. Decent atmosphere from both sets of fans tho.

Pne will get a higher attendance than the Swindon game, and will get a higher attendance than any Bristol City games.

Bristol City's capacity is capped at about 14,000 in fairness.

I'm sure there was more in the ground than the 8,400 announced.

600 empty seats in the away end, possibly. Over 1000 empty seats in the home stands? not a chance. I got to the ground 10 mins before kick and the queues at the turnstiles were pretty big and clearly a hold-up somewhere, i think there might have been problems with the tickets etc and people were being let in through other gates which the system won't count.

The online ticket page suggested roughly 400 tickets were available a few hours before kick-off. Whereas some games you might have season-ticket holders not turn up for whatever reason, everybody at that game had to go out of their way to buy a ticket, would it then be normal for 600 or so of them not to use their ticket, i wouldn't have thought so.

Not that it really matters but still...

The end 2 blocks in the stand to our left were practically empty to be fair, doesn't account for 1,000 though.
