They will just put the prices up. Everyone was expecting that this season anyway. If we get promoted with a steady base of about 10k fans for the last 7 years you'd like to think vast majority of them will tolerate a price increase.

The main issue would be if we go crap again and have to put the prices up, would be carnage.

If 15,000+ people watch them have a successful season and get promoted to a division they've not seen in a decade, I'd imagine they could increase prices to £300 or more and most would still renew.

1400 tickets allocated for us at gillingham. £15 a pop which is pretty decent and just in the process of booking the train which is only £45 too.

You'll get more if you want them too I'd imagine, probably up to about 2k. £15 is good value too I think.

I presume every game. As far as I'm aware we don't operate a grading policy based on away clubs like some teams too. I think 15 quid is pretty good value for the level.

It says no further allocation after that. Tbh that will be enough anyway id of thought were not the best of long distance travellers. £15 is sound especially if it's a nice day.

Barnsley & Port Vale will probably take the biggest followings on the opening day I would hazard a guess at.
Depends if we're given the extra blocks to the side of the normal away end like last season, and if Crewe give Vale 3 sides of their ground (lol)
Think Bury will take a fair few to Doncaster as well, what with them on the crest of a wave and having spent a lot of money already this summer. Top stuff from Gills to only charge £15 for away fans, think they did last season as well. Swindon take note.

Not meant as a dig at Bury (or Dale) fans here, but aren't their usual away averages only a touch higher than Dale's? If that's the case then, whilst Donny is hardly Vladivostok, I can't see them taking much more than 1000.

I think we may even take more to Walsall.

Good on you.

Don't see why we're limiting it to 1900 though, I doubt our own ticket sales are that high that we couldn't accommodate the home fans in the 3 other stands and give you the whole Brian Moore (somewhere near 3k)

Seems weird to limit them to 1900 then? I think Notts had about 2.5k on the last day of the season and that included a few rows netted off.

250 odd left of 1,976 allocation from Chesterfield, won't give us anymore though because a few Barnsley fans were more boisterous than the police liked on the way back into town last time. Nobheads. Got mine though. Barry Shitpeas to play me in the movie.

We have sold 650 for Milwall for 2 weeks on Saturday. On that I would expect about 1200, unless we beat Wigan and it may be slightly higher.

We wouldn't sell anywhere near 3k anyway mate. Will be a push to sell the extra 500.

I think a few people are going to be surprised by Wigans support this season. They're not as tinpot as some would have you believe.

They are lucky it is a northern league which may help them. They should take big followings to Rochdale, Bury and Oldham as well as us on the first game.
I reckon they will take tiny numbers to the games in the south east.

How can they be boisterous on way back to the station? They get escorted down the side of a dual carriage way? What were they doing? Mooning at cars?

Shame we won't give you anymore as I imagine there will only be 5,500 home fans there so its a waste of money.

When we came out there were a number of policemen "escorting" some Barnsley fans down the dual carriageway, few of them were being loud. That's it as far as I'm aware, was in town for a few hours before and a few hours after the game and didn't see even a hint of trouble. But we did have a few incidents at other places last season (Port Vale mainly) so that's probably entered their thinking. It'll still be a good day and hopefully good game but it's a shame we won't be given anymore. It's not like we're doing a Vale and asking for 3/4 of the ground.
