The end 2 blocks in the stand to our left were practically empty to be fair, doesn't account for 1,000 though.

The end block was sparsely populated no doubt as that was the last block of tickets they put up for sale. I don't know, you like to think having been to plenty of games at the ground you can make a pretty reasonable guess at the attendance figure before they announce it and i would have said there was over 9000 there.

I'm probably wrong though and it wouldn't be the first time.

Just under 12000 for last couple of months. Typical with it being our most successful in over half a century.

Pne will get a higher attendance than the Swindon game, and will get a higher attendance than any Bristol City games.
Seeing as we've only had a reduced 12,000 capacity this season - I'd be shocked if they didn't.

But - then again, if we'd of had our full, 20,000 capacity, I'm certain we would have sold out for many home games this season, as there were many left wanting tickets for games this season.

Also - I'm sure the 12,000 mark would be more than enough for Bury - couldn't see many sellouts from your lot on that.

The best following will end up being Swindon's IMO given their home support and the distance.

What a state sheffield United are in. I thought their support was right up there with leeds and Wednesday normally. Under 20,000 home fans for a play off game and can only muster up 1,700 for the away game... What's happening?

Constant failure of Preston proportions.

They've still pissed the home and away attendance tables this season.

Nah their away support isn't as good as ours, by their own admission.

About 1/2 the size a club as what leeds are for a start. And wednesday always have a few hundred more on the average for away support not too much in the home support. The exact reason our playoff crowds are shit is because we constantly fucking fail

Percentage wise it's probably the same pal, extra 10-15% on both.

I don't really do the whole away following argument, but I think when trying to draw a comparison the average home attendance and distance to travel has to be accounted for, and using that I'd expect one of the northern teams with slightly below average home crowds for the division to get a good representation

Just thought I would mention this on the away thread.

The Ricoh train station is due to be opening in a month or so which means a trip on the train to the stadium will be drastically easier.

Don't do it......drink in Bedworth.

Iv got to give it a chance tbh its an away game that i dont want to go too at all. Without looking im guessing its a train to birmingham and change there?

Aye, changing at Brum is the easiest.

Last time i went to Coventry centre was about 8 years ago, there's next to nowt worthwhile there, think we found a Yates and a couple of others.

Coventry has a few decent pubs, if you look hard enough. Spon Street is decent.

I can imagine the Litten Tree is the pub most away fans go as it is the closest to the station. Not the best, but it is very, very cheap. Vale supporters took it over when they were in Cov.

Away fans will be charged no more than 20 quid at the Ricoh next season.

What on earth is going to happen if Bradford get promoted to the Championship? Surely they would need to increase season tickets by £150-£200 to be sustainable and challenge at level. It's a good experiment and a great response from the Bradford fans with the sales but I just can't see how it will work out if you move up a level.
