York at home for City or Barnsley. I'm liking these home draws.

Can't really argue with that. We all know almost our entire first team is out at the moment and I defy any other club not to to be 'slumping'.

As fans, of course, this is overlooked. Cooper out!

Damn shame the game against York is at Oakwell, an away day in York would definitely have been worth breaking the boycott.

You were the better side for a large part of the game, I agree.
I certainly wouldn't say you were 'by far the better side'.
We started and finished the game stronger.
Also we deserved it after what that wanker Halsey did to us the year before.

First half was pretty even from what I remember, Wigan maybe a shade on top in the second half. Then came the Wigan penalty in extra time (which was a dive), but it was still pretty even until the second half of extra time, when we threw on extra forwards and deservedly managed to score from a couple of belting crosses. Very, very tight final which Wigan could easily have taken, but I wouldn't ever claim that either side deserved to win through necessarily, it was all down to the finest of fine margins!

Hopefully. I mean I'd much rather we climbed the table than got to Wembley but it's certainly been a welcome distraction from the league so far.

Wait, we're at the semi-final stage now? One tie from Wembley? I guess I should pay attention.

Decent win against Morecambe last night. Barnsley in the next round who we've already beat this season and the 2nd leg is at home :)

Oxford United over 2 legs. We'll definitely fuck it up.

Good performance against Wigan but I fully expect us to balls it up against Fleetwood. Two of our worst home performances in recent times have come against them, although we also managed to lose 2-0 at home to Morecambe in the league cup a few seasons ago so not sure they'd have been much better opposition for us.

I guess our game is on the tellybox, with Port Vale rescheduled for the Sunday as a result.

Yet 3 weeks ago we were forced to play on a Saturday after a Thursday tie on TV which is irritating.
