Yeah, I didn't see that as an amazing save either, not sure why our site was bigging it up so much. Its a slow looper, dead centre of the goal and at a nice height. If that goes in, you are blaming him for not saving it.

Pretty standard save which looks better because he isn't very big and he is throwing himself at it. A Courtois/De Gea size keeper would be catching that. Its a decent enough save, but nothing to get as excited as some clearly did.

Dear Leyton Orient. Please can you just leave us alone. We came down to League Two to get away from you and it's been nice being able to play in a league where we don't get two guaranteed spankings per season. However you seem to be intent on chasing after us. Just in case the worst happens we're currently eyeing up the Conference as a possible refuge from you.

Us vs Yeovil today is a pretty big game is this battle, it really has to be a win for us to try and escape further away from the relegation zone.

I think if we beat Barnsley today we'll be more or less free of this.

What a difference a couple of weeks makes. Saying that, in a couple of weeks we could be right back down there again. Edging up the table as it stands though, hope we can keep it up.

We're in big trouble, we can't even beat the worse fucking side I have seen this season.

Still think we will have enough. We have been terrible but relegation would be diabolical in terms of fuck ups.

We absolutely have enough and we don't play like a bottom 4 team. We've only lost by more than 1 goal twice but today kind of summed us up in 90 minutes. Concede a bizarre goal, dominate and 'look good' - any other team you'd have sat there and just said it was a matter of time before we scored but we just contrive a way to lose every fucking week. Last year we deserved to go down and we didn't, this year we don't and probably will. A cruel mistress this game.

County just looked dreadful in the final third. Had plenty of chances yet Neal only had one real save to make first half. Their strikers today don't look capable of getting the goals to get them out of it based on what I saw today.

Orient seem to be turning it around and Coventry had a very impressive result so danger for sides like County and Crewe.

Not even remotely joking when I say we'd have won 3 or 4-1 if Spencer was upfront today. Garry Thompson was fucking embarrassing, they weren't even 'chances', they were fucking sitters.

Having said that, we were good apart from that, so it's not all bad. The starting XI to keep us up easily is at the club. They just need to stop playing like braindead fucks every week - I've seriously never seen a more unintelligent group of players in my life when it comes to building attacks and knowing what to do in the final third. Thank fuck we've got McCourt in though, looks like a player that will win us a couple of games single-handedly.

Forthcoming fixtures:

24th Yeovil(33) - 30 points. Walsall(H), Oldham(H), Bristol City(H), Leyton O(A), Colchester(A)

Yeovil manage a draw with Scunthorpe, but its wins they need. They now have an excellent run of fixtures, have to make the most of these next 5, especially these next 2 at home. Colchester lost again and they also have some favourable games coming up. Possibly make or break for them too. Crawley grabbed a good draw at home to Sheff U and have 7 points from their last 9. Couple of tough games coming up now however. Orient continue to show signs of recovery, if they get going(and have the squad to do so), they could quickly get themselves clear of danger.

Coventry got a good win over MK Dons, 1 defeat in their last 6 now and they could also recover from this position if a new manager comes in and gives them a temporary boost. Notts County continue to slip down the table, a failure to win at Colchester on Tuesday and they could be in deep trouble. Crewe got a creditable home draw with Swindon but have some very tough games coming up. They could easily be back in the bottom 4 this time next week. Scunthorpe are back in the bottom 8, hard to know if they will go on a winning streak and pull themselves clear for good or lose several and get dragged back into it, they are ridiculously inconsistent.

Fixtures coming up on Tuesday:
Barnsley v Coventry
Bradford v Crawley
Colchester
v Notts County
Fleetwood v Scunthorpe
Leyton O
v Bristol City
Rochdale v
Crewe
Yeovil
v Walsall

Can't see Yeovil getting out this but then I couldn't see Gillingham doing it either at Xmas.

Notts County seem to be sinking like a stone.

Scunthorpe surprise me as they played well against us - but a bit clueless upfront I suppose.

That's because Robins is so stubbon and refuses to play 4-4-2, you really should not play a lone striker against a team like Yeovil. We have Madden who plays on the wing and has scored 15 this season, put him up front and he will most likely get more.

The bottom five sides have all done decent recently, I hope with Mowbray coming in tomorrow he will give the team a bit of direction and at last play the players in the correct positions. Pressley playing Frank Nouble left wing should never be seen agian, hopefully.

It's a young team with some very decent players at his level, so I pray we go on a winning run, as though we have lost only once in six most were draws and drawing is not what we need atm.
If we can get through this season and survive I feel next season with the youngsters we have who have all now got a lot of first team experience we could be a good bet for promotion/playoffs .

Just survive, that's all I ask ,and we can get rid of the trash like Pressleys bum chum Webster in the summer. Mowbray will piss himself when he sees Andy Webster play.

A nice easy 3 points for Yeovil on Tuesday.
Yeovil are literally the worst side I have seen in a long time, they had three shots against us all game and two came in the same attack.

The fact we drew against them is sickening.

If we can manage to stay out of the bottom 4 by the end of a very tricky March we should be fine, but if we fail to beat at least one of Rochdale and Scunthorpe this week it will be tough.

Things not looking ideal down Meadow Lane way. Last three games we've played quite well and lost them all, which is never a good sign.

I think we'll still be okay on the basis that our record against the other teams at the bottom is fantastic and we still have to play most of them - Colchester, Crawley, Walsall and Yeovil all away from home which is even better, although obviously you can pencil in the annual Bescot 1-1. Other thing giving me hope is that under Derry we've done this - we go on long runs of horrible form and then suddenly have a brilliant month or two. We must've picked up 90% of our points under him in three little bursts of form and we're due another one.

Tuesday night at Colchester is massive, though. Lose there and I really will be concerned.

We are still yet to play Crewe, Colchester, Oldham and Orient at home. As well as Notts County, Chesterfield, Barnsley and Crawley away. Hopefully the new man (Mowbray?) can pick up the points in those sort of fixtures that Pressley simply couldn't.

Good win for us, gives us breathing space to the drop zone. But some tough games coming up. No Forde/Cook this evening so a young squad with a diferent look to it. Congratulations to Mr Smith on finding Jordy Hiwula, 4 in 8 - 2 from the wing. Impressive for a 19 year old who was apparently poor down at Yeovil.

We massively need a win at Crewe, sounds like we played well tonight so we need to take that into Saturday. They will be eager to bounce back after tonight though.

Big win for us, finally found some creativity with JCR and McCourt (who, judging by his first 2 games could keep us up on his own if he fancies it, the type of matchwinner we've not had since Judge left) in midfield and hopefully some added firepower with Lita - and Murray and Spencer(!!!) hopefully still to return.

We are gone. Our home form is far too embarrassing and we won't stay up on away form alone. Ffs football.

He was abject for us, couldn't buy a goal. I now think that was more to do with us than him.

We should throw the towel in and accept we aren't good enough to stay up. My worry is we'll go straight down to the Conference.
