We've got 3 games now against teams surely devoid of confidence, which makes them bloody dangerous to play. (Scunny, Walsall & Notts County)

I think 53 points might be the total for the team in 20th.

This though is one league we've done really well in for the last few weeks, and might offer serious clues as to which 3 teams will join Yeovil in L2 next season -

New manager will hopefully save us. Doubtful but if it gets us a couple of wins, who knows. Saturday is massive, if we can't beat Yeovil then :dk:

I don't like to hype up one game in particular usually, but you have to say its a must win fixture for your lot against Yeovil I feel.

If you can't beat us the way we're playing at the moment then in all honesty you deserve to go down with us

Port Vale could actually be in some genuine bother, looking at their fixtures. Obviously they've now lost six in a row, but I still keep thinking they'll edge over the line as surely they will get a result sooner or later?

But they now have MK Dons and Preston, with a trip to Scunthorpe sandwiched in between. Need a result at Scunthorpe or else they'll probably still be on 48 points with just two games to go.

When your manager says you've played well and okay in matches you've had one and two shots on target respectively then you're a disgrace to League One and you're inevitably getting relegated.

Skivo didn't pull any punches in his post-match interview after that shambles at Fleetwood.
"Defensively today we were nothing short of a disgrace"
"If our players had half of the commitment (of the fans) that it takes them to come up here, and half of their personality, to actually handle adversity, then we'd be a lot better off"
"The group of players that we brought in. They are simply and utterly not good enough, first of all as professional footballers in a group, and second of all to do their jobs and be men"

Nothing wrong with a bit of pure honesty. and he's bang on the money there.

Fair play to him, that's brutal honesty. Very rare to hear a manager say stuff like that.

It needed saying and i'm glad he did. He also called on the board to tell everyone what's going on behind the scenes and what direction they are going to take the club in next. Put his head on the block there but I admire him for doing it.

Rob Page every weekend; 'our performance justified a result, I can't fault the players commitment'. Shut up Rob.

We are not likely to get anything this weekend, football is a funny old game but I can't see it.

We need to be beating Yeovil who will be long relegated by then and then 2 points from the rest probably, Scunny and Fleetwood are our best chances of course. A win at Scunthorpe of Tuesday and i'll fancy us to stay up, lose that and we are in deep.

I reckon even if we win at Coventry we will probably still be a point behind 20th, so we probably do need to be looking at all three points on Saturday.

Best case scenario we win as do Yeovil. Walsall and Vale both lose along with Orient and Coventry vs Colchester and Scunthorpe vs Crawley draw.

Don't even want to think that about the worst possible outcome.

I'm going for Colchester, Scunthorpe, County and Orient wins. Crewe, Walsall, Vale, Coventry to lose.

Its a shame there isn't any 6 pointers like this on the last day as I believe SKY are showing a couple of games, no doubt they will pick there usual favourites Bristol City, MK Dons ect, even if they have nothing to play for.

If we need something on the last day to stay up we might be on with it being a derby game.

Could be that Preston need to beat us to seal automatics and we need to beat them to survive... chances are they'll already be up and we'll already be down, mind you haha.

Notts County will go on their honeymoon period after their new manager is appointment and they will stay up.

We won't beat Orient, they score goals, we don't. They have fight, we don't. They have experience, we don't. They can attack, we have an absolutely inept manager devoid of an attacking philosophy. We never beat Orient as well.

Its a big ask, you can't just invent goals out of nowhere, especially without any possibility of the loan window to add quality to the side.

We're at home to Coventry on the final day. I'd be amazed if both of us didn't have anything to play for by then.

We can only save ourselves in the next 3 games.

Fleetwood (H)
Crawley (H)
Crewe (A)

Less than 3 points, we have the R next to our name. 6 points, or 5 and we stay up without needing to sweat too much into the last couple of weeks.

Final 3 games...

Swindon (A)
Oldham (H)
Bristol City (A)

Gulp. We never beat Oldham at home either.
