It will go down to goal difference for that final spot.

We can only save ourselves in the next 3 games.

Fleetwood (H)
Crawley (H)
Crewe (A)

Less than 3 points, we have the R next to our name. 6 points, or 5 and we stay up without needing to sweat too much into the last couple of weeks.

Final 3 games...

Swindon (A)
Oldham (H)
Bristol City (A)

Gulp. We never beat Oldham at home either.[/QUOTE]
You will this year.

Out of interest, which players do you think he is talking about?

It's easier to say which ones he's not talking about...probably Sam Foley and a couple of the loan players are the only ones who come out of this with any credit.

Hoping that Sturrock's arrival at Yeovil will wake them up a little to take points off of Notts County and Port Vale before the season's end. Please.

Rather bizarre appointment. You'd have been better off giving Johnson one last shot.

Old hand guiding a young apprentice, has history in this part of the world. I'm open to it, see what he does over the summer.

Three teams from nine separated by four points. Mental, never seen anything like it.

It's weird how in some seasons most (or occasionally all, as in 2011/12) of the relegated teams are shite enough to not give the rest of the division much to worry about over the closing weeks, whilst others like this one, you have practically half of League 1 looking over their shoulders. The battle for the last play-off place has been equally tight (probably due to everyone between Preston and Yeovil taking points off each other), but even that seems to have settled down to two teams now.

Purely statistically, our odds tomorrow are incredibly generous. Away from home against the nine teams genuinely involved in the relegation scrap, we've beaten six of them, have yet to play two and one is ourselves. Indeed, those six games were all won without conceding a goal. You have to go up to Oldham in 13th to find a team who have scored a goal against us at home.

We are undeniably terrible, but when it comes to going away to other bad teams and getting a result, we're division leaders. That said, the Moniz thing does throw a bit of a grenade in there. No one really has a clue how we're going to approach it or what eleven he might put out.

I can't see anything other than you lot winning.

The odds on us winning a game regardless of where and against whom should always be incredibly long at the moment. You'll beat us for sure, 2 or 3-1

Well that victory is a relief, if we can pick up 3 points in the remaining 5 games then I think that should see us safe on 54, actually picking those points up though is probably going to be quite hard. Not the best result for County today? I had Colchester getting something at Coventry too.

A point in a game we were expecting to get battered in so can't complain, even though apparently it was a game on the day we should of won!

Yeovil are officially down now aren't they? Not a single thing on the BBC website. Really poor effort.

Yeovil are down (officially I think?)

Colchester and Notts County will go down I believe now, only one place left now. I think Crewe or Leyton Orient will claim the last place.

One more win from the last 4 should see us safe now.

I'd stick Vale in with Crewe and Orient.

Colchester were shite today, I'd be surprised if they don't go down. We're one win away from safety, must not bottle it City.

We're officially down now, and from today's game Notts are coming with us.

Orient and Colchester have mega tough run ins so they might struggle.

As shit as we are, Orient and Crawley have both looked terrible recently against us. I mean if Orient couldn't see us off by three or four clear goals today then it'd be no surprise if they didn't get another point all season considering their run in.

Staying up due to another team's incompetence is the only way I can see us avoiding it now. I've tried to remain positive but it's hoping against hope. We don't just look poor and devoid of all ideas, we look dead on our feet. Either the players have given up or the fitness is so piss poor they've nothing else to give.

We need 52 points to be absolutely sure imo, there's no way we're getting there whilst we average one shot on target per game. We're relying heavily on others.

We were awful today but have been better recently. Table isn't looking disastrous just yet, still only one win away from clawing out of it, but can't afford to put in more displays like this afternoon.

If we don't win Tuesday, we're gone, the last 4 games will be 100% losses.

Even if you win I don't think 50 points will enough, if as you say you lose the last 4. Doncaster are no mugs as well, very good away team coupled with Orients being poor at home means it will be difficult on Tuesday.

If we beat Oldham Tuesday I would imagine us being about 5 points clear which should see us all but safe.

Lose and I will start to worry again, especially with the fact we have to go to Bristol next week.
