Orient, County and Colchester all have games in hand. Great.

Against Rochdale (A), Preston and Swindon respectively. I'd rather have the extra point or two over them already on the board over those games in hand tbh.

Got a feeling last night was a big point for us. 4 more points from the last 3 might just do it.

My ideal bottom 4 is looking more likely again now as well, Yeovil, Colchester, Crawley and Orient.

We've got Bristol away so its gonna go to the last two games for us, ideally we will beat Crewe an be safe before the last game. One point from the final 2 games with our GD would probably do it but don't want it coming to that as it would probably mean we can still be relegated on the final day

Games in hand are only worth anything if you win them.
The teams down the bottom of the league are there because they don't win games.
In short, games in hand for those teams down the bottom are about as much use as a handbrake in a canoe.

They become more important when there's this few games left. Having four games left rather than three is definitely significant.

We're doomed.
Well, unless we beat Notts County on Saturday. Then all is optimism.

Scroll back a page and you'll see. Or, alternatively, have a look on the beeb/sky sports/their clubs website.

Crawley vs Notts is beyond a very big game. The winner will think they can stay up the loser will think its over and a draw helps nobody.

A draw wouldn't be a terrible result for us, we just can't afford to lose. A point still leaves us ahead of Crawley with three games left rather than two and, assuming Orient don't win at MK (which would throw a spanner in there), we just need to get more points than them with three much kinder fixtures. It'd go from a reasonable to good result if Walsall did us a favour at your place.

I think regardless of what we do on Saturday a Notts County win in that game would be best for us.

We're in serious danger of going down on GD looking at the run-in and using my crap crystal ball.

When you say it like that Jacob it doesn't sound that bad, thing is we are drawing constantly. I think we will lose against Preston and draw at Gillingham. Meaning we really need to beat Crawley then Donny at home. A tough ask.
Don't get me wrong, I like your comment more than mine!

Not even worth predicting what happens at Gillingham, just becomes a one-off match depending on the situation and what we might need.

I'd be very surprised if we won two of the last four and didn't stay up.

They may be ran by scumbags, but fair play to Coventry for lowering ticket prices for their final home game against us in 2 weeks. We had 1,500 travel down there for the JPT area final 2 seasons ago when it was £5 a ticket. £10 a ticket but we are in a relegation battle, not a contest for Wembley, so that will affect things. We usually take decent numbers to our final away game and with this being not far away, cheap tickets and a good city/casino at the stadium for a piss up, I'd like to think we can take 1,000+ to this.

Fair play Coventry, should take a good following and should hopefully be a big crowd. We love the Ricoh when its full.

Won't be full, depending on how many you bring maybe 10-12k probably. Only 7,200 there last night

Last night's goal left Notts with a winning feeling. Ok it was another draw but it sure as he'll felt like a win. We can't draw our way to safety but Saturday is a massive game. We just need to win. Sounds simple.

Hopefully Donny will turn up and have their bellys tickled. They have note to play for.

I think we may get 15k ish. If it's decent weather on the day, thousands may fancy it.

Disgraceful if it's lower than an average Wasps crowd.

I agree but I'm preparing for it to be disgraceful, I gave up completely any expectations on our fan base about 4 months ago. Don't care what shit we've been through our support is disgraceful.

We was due a relegation anyway, we've not had one for 20 years now. We've only had 4 in the last 50 years believe it or not and have spent 15 years each in Leagues One and Two equally in the last 30 years, so we have been due one for a while as its the thing you have to expect when supporting a small club.

Alot of our older supporters who have seen these 4 previous relegations have said that this would be by a long long long way the worst one becuase of the stupid amount of money thrown at the team, at least 20 years ago we had no money and was lucky to stay in business.

It is also customry that a team that loses the playoff final has to get relegated every 4 years.

Also our manager is clueless and our owner is a fucking c*** along with all the Italian backroom/administration staff he has brought in.

I wouldn't piss on any of them if they was on fire.

Our goal difference is very good, but that will all change at Milton Keynes on Saturday when they smash 6 past us :2thumb:

All we need is for Orient and Crawley to pick up no more points for the rest of the season and we're golden :brill:

I think we will pick up four more points for 51. I think if there's a winner in the Notts County and Crawley game, Orient get relegated. If there's a draw, survival.

This weekend then...

MK Dons vs Leyton Orient
Colchester vs Scunthorpe
Crawley vs County
Bristol City vs Coventry
Crewe vs Walsall

So, what are people's thoughts on that lot?
