Come on Orient stop losing. It's not funny anymore.

After last night Yeovil look to poor to stay up. Sounded like Colchester were very poor on Saturday also. And for Crawley to lose to that Yeovil team they must go down as well. Leaving one place that on current form Orient look favourite for. They do look to have the players where they could go on a run like ourselves and Gillingh have done, but its weather they can be arsed by the sounds of things.

If the bottom 4 stayed the same I'd be pretty happy with that. 4 of the the longest journeys gone.

Can't really see anyone outside the current bottom 5 going now, it'd take a very decent run from any of the current bottom 4 to overcome the gap that's starting to emerge. Shame for us as they're mostly close trips for us, but they aren't good away days, bar Orient.

I wouldn't be surprised one bit if we went down

Four wins and a draw from our last five league games.
Quite simple really, play a pretty settled side, play players in the right positions and play Dack each week.
Also with such a young side a lot is down to confidence.
This league is so bloody bizarre this season that we cannot say we are completely out of it yet, but we have certainly given ourselves an opportunity to have a cheeky glance up the table instead of just a wary look over our shoulder.

This is mere respite for us I think, 28/02 to 28/03 we have five of the current top six to play so I imagine our promotion winning form may take a dip and we'll get dragged back into it a bit.

But simply having this little cushion is a bonus considering we were looking like going down with record low points total back in September.

I thought the league was Northern this year - next year could be absolutely ridiculous! Quite possibly will be, Up: City, Swindon, MK Down: Crawley, Yeovil, Orient, Colchester. Add to that Blackpool Wigan and possibly Rotherham from the Champ, Shrewsbury and Burton from L2. God I hope we go up this year

The only positive I can think of if we don't go up is playing Blackpool and Wigan

Christ.

Hopefully Millwall, Charlton or Brighton will come down (ideally more than one although can't see it!), with Southend and Luton/Wycombe coming up. We probably have more local games on the continent than we do in this league!

You're making relegation sound all the more appealing and, for that, I thank you.

I said at the start of the season any League One side that signed Ajay Leitch-Smith was nailed on for relegation, goodbye Yeovil.

No human alive, can seriously want to have to travel to Luton next season? It's the biggest shithole this side of Islamabad.

I know, but at least it is a fairly local shithole, compared to glamorous delights that are Blackpool (Fleetwood), Bradford, Rochdale, Burslem etc.

There aren't many places in this league that aren't shitholes. At least with Luton I'd be home within an hour and a half or so as opposed to 3 hours which is the norm this year!

Seriously think this is the season to stay up, the sides below who are trying to gain promotion look the weakest bunch to ever go up in years.

Agreed, also two of the teams that seem likely to come down, Blackpool and Wigan, seem to be in self-destruct mode.

If we manage to stay up then I have the feeling we're the next WABLO.

Can someone save a space for me in here?

It's just with Crawley starting to look dead and buried we'll probably lose to them on Saturday, thus handing them a lifeline whilst we slip towards the bottom four. Crewe (H), Scunthorpe (A) and Gillingham (A) are our next three after that so those fixtures could have a big say in how the bottom 7/8 look going into the final couple of months.

Its an awful league this year and next year could be even worse so could be a chance for some of the more average sized clubs to really have a go at getting out the right way certainly.

I don't think it's an awful league, I think League One is going back to the way it was before many big clubs came down here. The third tier has been blessed with the likes of Leeds, Wolves, Southampton, Wednesday, Leicester, Forest etc in recent years and now they've all gone back up it's a very tight and competitive league which is great to see. I just think next season if Shrewsbury, Burton and Wycombe were three of the teams coming up all three would go straight back down which is a greater incentive for sides like us to stay up this year and really push on.

This season has seen a horrific standard of football in this league, the fact that the likes of Oldham, Rochdale and Bradford are legitimately pushing for the play-offs is hilarious. Have only been impressed by Swindon this season, and in reality they would only be play-off contenders in years gone by.

Buzzing for League 2 next year tbh.

League Two is much much worse than this league. It's not as strong as when we were last there, pretty much says it all when 43 goals scored in 30 games is guaranteeing top spot at the moment.

My worst nightmare would be us going down and Burton going up. That would reet cheese me off as I live a couple of miles from the Pirelli.

Called it. I hadn't quite imagined it would be by such an embarrassing scoreline though.
