Top 3 in order in my opinion I'd have to go with.

1. Coventry
2.colchester
3. Gillingham

Why is Coventy an unattractive fixture?

Okay - a shit football ground, but you can get up to a 6k allocation, and it's in a good area for any side.

Because its the most dullest ground of the lot 10,000 people in a 31'000 seater just kills any atmosphere what has a 6k allocation got to do with owt whos gonna take that many infact thats exactly what makes it worse 1500 sat in an end that holds 6k. I must admit iv not been in cov town centre so im going entirely on the ground with this one.

We actually had 4,000 because we're massive...

It's a dull, shit ground, and doesn't have much of a football ground feel about it - but it's one of the biggest ground in the league, the potential is there for a shit load of fans if it's a big game, and it's easy to get too as I said.

I could think of far worse in this league than Coventry.

I like the way this thread started AFTER Stevenage lost their playoff match, otherwise there may have been a surprising degree of unanimity in the responses.

Least attractive fixture to attend as a neutral for me would probably be the Crewe/Vale derby. Neither side particularly good or attractive, and the idiot elements of both sets of fans looking for bother.

Colchester, Gillingham, Crewe.

Nothing personal, just a mix of awkward location and/or too little atmosphere.

Gillingham for me. Add Wycombe to that if they come up

Coventry on the train wa sa decent day out, plenty of boozers in town centre - just a shame ground is miles from ote.

Wouldn't go to Colchester again if you paid me.

Fleetwood can fuck off. Dull, fishing town, shit stadium, shit allocation.

I'm going to put Gillingham as well because it's fucking miles away, although i've never been so i'm going off hearsay in terms of it's shitness.

Walsall can do one as well, shite stadium built on the motorway, the town is hardly an idyllic drinking spot either.

Might be biased, but Gills has GOT to be a better trip than Colchester.

Anyway, the answer to this is one of Rochdale, Bury, Oldham, Scunthorpe or Port Vale. Utterly grim the lot of you. Rochdale is slightly redeemed by that chippy outside the away end.

Gillingham loses points for that away end, it's the worst in League football.

I met a girl from Tinder in Gillingham whilst on a BlueWater trip and it genuinely is a dump.

Weve took 6000 there before it was still shit then and distance doesnt matter really. Bristol is further london is further and many other places that i would find a more attractive fixture than coventry

I knew we would figure prominently in this one.
Our away end is an embarrassment, there is no disputing that.
All I would say though is that at least our stadium is in the town. You can walk it in 5 minutes from the train station and there are shops, cafes and pubs.
What I hate is the poxy, soulless stadiums that stuck in the arse end of nowhere and a pain to get to and boring as fuck when you get there.

I feel guilty including Gillingham after not sampling its delights now.

I still can't be assed travelling down there though

Another voting for Gillingham sorry, distance and terrible away end the only reason. Had some good banter with Gills fans at Burton the season they won the league.

I've been there for a 3-3 draw when I was at school and then a shit 0-0 draw under Westley and i've no intention of going back after that.

I've not been there but that can't be right surely, I mean there's ours for a start, or Accrington or Exeter. Worst in League 1 maybe.

One of my favourite away days that was.
A real party atmosphere with two sets of fans who just enjoyed the day, had a laugh and a fair few sherbets.
Looking forward to coming up there again this year.

Its 17 notes at the Albion with covered terracing and I think 20 notes in the seats next season.
