That is absolutely shocking news, I can't quite process it. He seemed like a guy who kept himself super-fit even after retirement. We joked about it of course but he really was an excellent manager and every Wrexham fan will agree that they had huge respect for him.

Totally shocked by this. When I read he was in hospital, I just thought it was as a precaution. He may have caused us the most pain in recent years when his side beat us in the play off final, but he was a manager I always respected and would’ve taken at Wrexham any day. RIP
