Popular fan Frank Bish killed last night.

This morning, Orient players and staff not paid. Again.

It never ends.

It looks like our staff haven't been paid, including all the players. They're apparently prepared to play tomorrow, but will apparently go on strike and NOT play the next fixture away at Cambridge after if they're not paid next week.

I cannot blame them in the slighest. This has been coming for a while, if they do go on strike it will be huge, HUGE wake up call for the EFL & FA.

No idea what that c*** Becchetti is trying to prove, if anything at all.

This has been a crap week all round.

Can anyone see Orient going part time in the conference if they survive. With the way things are they have have to until they are in a position to challenge for promotion

Not sure if the rules have changed, or what the situation is, but there could be a real problem with Orient even being allowed to start in the Conference.

As far as I'm aware, all creditors need to be paid, however after the fiasco of many a year ago, they may be forced into accepting them.

No need to go part time if all we have are youth team players and Teddy Mezague.

Ollie Palmer said in his post match interview yesterday that he hasnt been paid by Orient either. Such a shame what's going on at Orient.

Don't think you're very clued up about what has been going on at Blackpool then, fella.
I gather the chairmans a bit of a arcehole but don't know details. But things ain't too bad on the field. This owner that everyone seems to hate did get them to premier league

Being a fan of a football club is not always about having success on the field, it's about having your club to support

Exactly Frealaf. Would I want the U's to reach the PL? No would be my answer because for a club like ours to reach such dizzying heights could only mean some millionaire owner has taken over and has been splashing the cash. Inevitably it'll end in tears, and the only comfort(?) the fans will have is to remember that they were once a PL side when they find themselves playing the likes of Stalybridge in the Connie North.

Having said that, it's possible to make the Championship without spending stupid amounts of money, but it's hard. Of course, you'd need the BOD in charge to be reasonable and realistic people to make it come true. And hard working.

Anythings possible. About 10 year ago we'd have laughed if someone said bournmouth and brighton could be in premier league. Mind i dont think a conference team has reached the premier league yet

Same as that mate, at the moment we are owned by the fans including myself but to the only way we could get into the premier league is to sell our soul to some bullshitter and then the team i've supported since 1973 wouldn't be my team anymore. I would rather spend 20 years in league 2 than one season in the premier league which would leave us heavily in debt.

A few of our fans made it up to the directors box yesterday, around the 85th minute mark when the game was dead and produced this.

It got the crowd whipped up to start calling for Becchetti to fuck the hell off.

Sadly the little c*** hasn't been to a home game since last November and neither has our CEO, who maybe a "nice bloke" but is also a c***.

Some good points here.

We didn't need to reach the top division though for a billionaire to buy us, invest shot loads of money, but forget to bring his people skills from Italy with him...........

We have another court date on 12th June, either he pays everyone or we go into administration.

The Blackpool fans will tell you it was Valeri Belokon's investment that got them to the Premier League, not the Oystons. He was the one who funded the signing of Charlie Adam as well as providing the cash for a new stand.

Of course the two parties are now in court because Belokon reckons he hasn't had his fair share of money back. All very messy.

Looks like the Orient players and staff will not be paid this week. The club apparently need a few more working days to sort.

One of the media team has had to borrow money from his mum and dad in order to get by.

Wrong on so many levels.

Rumours that the players may well down tools this weekend and NOT play against Cambridge.

They may not play Friday.....Sky reporting that players can/will walk away by Friday if they're not paid in full.

We may not see the season out.....If the youngsters walk out as well I will be seething, I don't get pissed off easily by my football club being shit, but to lose your assets for the future would be the biggest boot in the balls ever.

Feel for you, went through the same in the mid 90s with unpaid players all being released from contracts and club coming within a whisker of being no more. FA should have the ability to take control in these circumstances.

Be very surprised if they walk out. Remember Uncle Ron didn't pay the Southend players (or anyone at the club for that matter) for 14 months. Fortunately it turned out Sainsbury's were stumping up the cash for the running of the club, leading to the tangled web of madness that now surrounds everything off the field at Roots Hall.
But, some of the players I talked to at the time said they'd had no money, from anyone, for 4 months, they all still played.
When I asked why they hadn't just walked out, they said it was all about being 'in the shop window' that the contracts had been voided whatever so in the summer they'd go, and they all did.

Players not paid yet again.

The f**king EFL have just asked the Fans' Trust to pay medical bills (St John's Ambulance etc.) for the rest of the season. Useless c***s. As if we're going to bail out Becchetti. Monday's game vs. Hartlepool is in serious doubt.
