Who are the two who won the TV Show?

Two Italian kids, nothing known about them. However come pre season, we will see how shit they both are.

We've announced season ticket prices, which is something, £30 off from last season :milk:

Called it...

Warrant is in Albania, we have an extradition treaty with them... What happens now?

His mum, majority shareholder in Leyton Orient holdings, is also indicted.

What probably happens sadly is you go with them.

Unless you can somehow string it along like Birmingham have, depends how long this ridiculous contracts are for....if only till end of this season you've a chance.

To think you were a kick away from the Championship in the not so distant past what a fucking sad state of affairs?

The rate you are going Alfreton v Leyton Orient may be a league fixture instaed of a one-off cup tie! :eye::surr:

Albania is currently going through an election campaign and apparent Agon TV has been rather critical of the incumbent - despite him appearing on the Leyton Orient programme. Becchetti's lawyer is the former Albanian state attorney and he's pretty much described the charges as illegal as every good lawyer should.

But given the amount of question marks over Becchetti's businesses we've had (Google Kalivac dam) and his links to alleged organised crime (his uncle who is a shareholder in a few of Becchetti's businesses was indicted for charges in Italy being described by prosecutors as an "undisputed master of a criminal organization") there's certainly a fair bit to worry about rather than it just being political corruption...

We still haven't filed our accounts yet, sort of a parallel situation emerging with Birmingham and Mr Yeung.

Out of interest Orient fans, how much of blame do you put on Hearn for this having sold the club to Bechetti? I find it hard to believe that someone with his business knowledge has made this horrendous of a mistake given all of the years of good work he put into Orient.

Me Personally, no.

As much as I disagreed with a few of Barry's decisions (The flats on our ground being one), he was generally a very good chairman and the club lived within its means. Although we can't expand our ground, its still perfect for us. He also communicated with the fans on a regular basis and was in general a very approachable man.

Becchetti came along last year and has been true to his word, he has pumped in alot of money. Last summer we signed Darius Henderson, Jobi McAnuff, Jay Simpson & Shane Lowry as well as tieing down Dean Cox for another 3 years.

However his communication is awful, he has not once met with the fans, he hired a sporting director Mauro Milanese which upset the morale in the dressing room - the morale did appear to get a bit better once Milanese was sacked after it appeared he was sticking his nose in too much. The biggest mistake of all though, was that he hired a manager who could not speak any English and whom had no knowledge of the English lower leagues - Which is why we're here now.

Becchetti has pumped in alot of money, but has spent it so so so poorly.

at is quite a statement from a football club. It's bizarre and sad to see it happen to a traditional club like Orient.

I hope it only gets better

this is why I've found Carlisle fans on whole who I have spoken to are frankly not at all interested in fact we may have a rich person in talks....most just want us to sell to the local guy who can put in minimal investment to keep it going, but is a fan with the club at heart and would see us also own the ground still.

One thing I've found this summer from here and Carlisle fans is I think most genuine Lower League fans are not frankly interested in money being pumped in by an outsider to storm up the leagues.....as long as they keep out of non-league, can compete to L1, maybe Championship and club owns its facilities I think most are happy enough.

I guess we'll see next week where exactly we're at. Transfer embargos, owners with frozen assets going toe to toe with the Albanian government....

But at least we have a player at the Copa America.

Fucking massive.

I spoke to many Orient fans last season who told me they wished for this to happen, however it seems sad the current owners have had such an effect on the club as an whole. It seemed the majority were concerned and baffled to why only Italian staff were joining the club, I was even told one of which was assumed to be the highest paid L1 coach. Very sad really!

Good luck coming through this tho.

Alessandro Angelieri has replied to an email of a random fan (despite ignoring the press, fans trust, etc) to say that we have been out of our transfer embargo for a week now...

There's nothing like good communication, this is nothing like good communication!

I call it the Millwall complex. You support an unfancied side and are very proud of doing so (as well you should) and want them to do well but not too well otherwise the bandwaggoners will jump on the train and bother you while you were sipping a pint with your mates you've been going to games with since being born.

probably quite true.

I went to a game a couple of seasons back at Newcastle, think it was for Olympics and Everton when Carlisle played in the cup and on both occasions the thing I sort've hated was the crowds.

having to shove, push and surge through people to get to turnstyles, queue for turnstyles, queue for toilets, queue for food, push past people to your seats, all crammed in, then crushed on the way out...............I enjoy the nice 'in at 2.55pm' stroll with no hassle.

on flip side i'd imagine you put a Newcastle fan used to big crowds at Carlisle in among a 4,000 gate in a near empty ground and they'd detest it for totally other reasons. think you get used to the surroundings.

I see that Andy Hessenthaler has joined Orient as assistant manager.
Seems a bit weird him being assistant to Hendon who was previously Hess's assistant at the Gills.
Anyway, I am gutted to see the bloke leave Priestfield.
The term 'club legend' is used to frequently these days but in Hessenthaler's case it is absolutely spot on.
A good appointment for Orient in my opinion and he will certainly not stand for any slacking from over paid, pampered players.
Knows the lower leagues very well and knows what it takes to get teams promoted from them.
Good luck Hessie.

In terms of experience it's a very good appointment and it's what we needed as a club.

Wouldnt shake his hand though on the grounds that he lost the Mark McCammon case.

We're probably paying him more money to come here, our owner isn't short of a few quid as I've always said, he's just spent it unwisely so far.

Terminator,
Please be careful when referring to the McCammon case.
Hessie was never found guilty of racism, nor were the football club.
Gills were found guilty of not following the proper procedure and of basically taking bad legal advice.
I really don't want to go over old ground again but it does annoy me when people comment on something that they, at best, have little or no knowledge of.
Hessie has not got a racist bone in his body.

It's going to be a right old reunion on the opening day at Orient!

Have a lot of time for Andy. Was a model pro when he played for us and I wouldn't have minded him moving into the managers post. He also was very sporting as whilst playing for us against Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road, he convinced the ref to not book an opposing player for a challenge on him. Received a round of applause from the whole stadium for that.

I'd never trust some foreign owners wanting to by a lower league team.

That is a fair comment, also found this link as well:

Which backs up what you said to be right.
