At least if Westley gets the job we won't be the most hated team in League 2 because of our tactics :smug:
Don't worry Mowgs, Wycombe will always have a special place on my shitlist :bg1:

Thank fuck you didn't appoint Westley.
I take it the Andy Edwards they are talking about in that web article is Southend legend Eagle? Also working with another ex-shrimper in Danny Webb. Is Webb a decent coach btw? If he's even half as good as his dad then he's doing well.

Their record with our youth team is superb. They've been winning virtually everything in their respective league the last 2-3 years.

I wouldn't have minded giving them a crack at the job to be honest, but you then run the risk of losing two very big coaches at our club, who are well respected amongst everyone.

Andy Edwards in charge till the end of the season - Should've fucking kept it at that one month ago, at least the players showed some bottle and fight in the two games he had against Plymouth and Barnet.

Cavasins appointment was a total waste of time, the players haven't been playing for him and last night was again an awful performance at home and an 8th straight loss. The players played the ball on the floor, but there was no structure to our game - We kept conceding from set pieces as well.

His interviews were appalling, it was cringeworthy and awful - The translator was also crap at his job.

Rumours that Becchetti has left the country and gone back to Italy until the new year.

Rumours also that his family want him to sell up and go back home, because it isn't working for him here - Don't forget, the money he has invested is his families - Not his........

Mainly on the main forum to be honest, but Becchetti has 100% not been at the last two home games and Anglieri did suffer a heart attack two weeks ago.............

Had disaster written all over it when he was appointed, having a bloke who doesn't speak a word of English as manager as in League Two was a mental idea. Expect the caretaker bloke will get the players a bit more motivated and with the quality in Orient's squad should see them survive.

Rumours circulating that Becchetti has pulled the plug and wants out, fast.

Apparently he has been in discussions to sell up, no more money to be put into the club whilst he is here.

Which means no money for the transfer window to improve our deflated squad.

With any luck, IF this happens it is done by the end of January. But we shall see, could just be the internet playing up again..........

I was just looking for this thread. The bloke who has posted it isn't one for making up bullshit, I'm happy enough to take it at face value - mainly because if I was Becchetti I'd also be looking to walk.

However it also makes sense to invest in a couple of players because I can imagine a non league club is a lot less attractive proposition than a league club.

Exactly, we don't own our own ground either. He'd have to sell us for half of what he bought us for at most if we ended up Non League.

Looks like the Baskin Bobbins CEO and an American Consortium are discussing buying the club from Becchetti.

If this happens, it has to be done quickly as our squad is far, far too light weight and desperately needs some fresh faces in.

You reminded us of Stimson-era Barnet, a team that could play quite pretty but were gummy in attack and were relegation fodder.
