Yep to be honest I feel quite embarrassed that I didn’t remember that Lincoln City had beaten Man City reserves in the League Cup in 1996.
I mean that game is spoken of by football fans all over the world in the same breath as Italy 3-2 Brazil in World Cup 1982, Brazil 1-7 Germany World Cup 2014 and Morecambe 0-0 Cambridge in League 2 2018.

Please forgive my ignorance for forgetting such a monumental day in Lincoln City’s history.

General sale tickets were supposed to go on sale last night at 7pm but the ticketing site had some issues, so it got put back 24 hours.

Away tickets go on sale on Friday night, then the 20% set aside for general sale are on Sunday night.

A very good point Paul, the word obsessed gets wrongly thrown about on here far too often. I’m not a fan , I Class it as very lazy. But fishy appears the exception , when it comes to anything Lincoln related, inc this play off thread. It appears a legit claim.

At least I spread my waffle around plenty and get accused of being obsessed with 5-6 topics not just 1-2. Which kinda contradicts the label in itself.

Yep, even though they asked for 400 and that's what they were allocated. By the time they wanted more we had sold out the rest of the ground. As mentioned before, certain Grimsby fans are seriously obsessed.

It's a first leg so won't be decisive. Also league game was on a Good Friday and many people went as they haven't been before. Maybe a lot who went decided it isn't worth going again...
You can't win really.

No, congratulations. You improved a lot and deserved your play off spot, nobody begrudges you that.

I think what most take the piss out of you lot for is the complete 180 your new fan base has taken since improving, I've not known one quite like it and the banner proved that.

Good luck though, obviously I'd love you to fail in the play offs but if you win, you've deserved it.

Not sure if it's been mentioned on here but I hear a stretch of the M1 around the Nottingham/Leicester area is closed over the weekend and there is also The Nottinghamshire Show at The Newark Showground too which will cause long delays for any Exeter fans travelling, so I hope they'll factor that into their journey time.
