New managers coming in seems to have the desired effect a lot more often than not. Players seem to motivate themselves more, suppose it's a bit like a relationship everyone's always dead keen at the start then it just becomes mundane. Sad but true.

Palace getting rid of De Boer after 4 or 5 games was seen as ridiculous (by me also) but it definitely kept them up. Too much at stake these days money wise whether it be dropping into the champ or the NL. A lot of chairmen would rather take action and go down anyway than do nothing and go down thinking what if. Ours did the latter.

In no way am I trying to big up lincoln but.... to sack a manager for losing away at one of the bookies favourite teams seems madness to me!

Think the county lads deserved better, getting the feeling Hardy will turn you into a soap opera if he's not careful.
Everything seems to be going wrong for not only the poor form but all the injuries too, they always seem to go together happened to us enough times

Hardy appears to have gone the same way as Trew in that he’s been charmed and unduly influenced by the significant dickhead portion of our fanbase. Shame, had hoped someone with his ego might be a bit more able to make his own decisions.

Naturally we expect Viking to get super defensive on a internet football forum.

He's obviously had to pay them all off due to being under contract, and that will amount to a small fortune surely? Anybody disagree? Bar the Viking?

BTW I googled it, a 'small fortune' apparently amounts to £10,000/30,000. So It's probably not cost a small fortune ;)

Ah well, you'll be rate pal - I know it's hard to play a certain persona when your football club is fucking everything up but a good appointment and it could all get back on track :)

Not enjoying the Alan Hardy show personally - Don't wish it on any set of fans bar the spireites.

Not defensive at all, just calling out and making certain posters look foolish and they post rubbish or attempt a dig on a Notts County related match thread. You know thread about Lincoln vs Notts. Full quota of Stags and a couple of Fish. Standard

Hold on a minute have all your cast iron guaranteed , I know what some rival club is paying their new player, and predicted transfer fees come from an internet google search  Holy shit, I thought you might at least be a little connected.

Saying that I’m not sure how even google knows what John Radford said re. Attendances to a Notts county representive in the directors area last season! I’m guessing you just totally made that up when you said it didn’t happen.

I’m hoping Hardy doesn’t become Trew in terms of hiring and firing and being influenced by us keyboard warriors. Up to now he has been excellent for the club, no other word for it. Conks please don’t try and portray him as a Keith Haslam. :shifty: Ouch !

I literally don't understand the majority of that post, anyway a few weeks ago you said i'm the most fair-minded Stags fan on here - What got you're knickers in a twist?? :)

But yeah you generally have to pay somebody off in football if they are under contract unless Nolan and his staff agreed to terminate his contract for free, and in the context of a L2 established club I would say £30,000 is less than a 'small fortune'

Because I’m a lincoln fan and have deep rooted pessimism problems.

I’m just saying that I think it was perhaps a premature sacking. However, I suppose the decision isn’t based solely on this season’s results. Are you happy he’s been sacked?

Read today that taking last season into consideration, Nolan was on 8 wins from 28 games.

Cos you seemed to have changed, it appears around the time you got your knickers in a twist on a Notts match thread and started using the word ‘nonce’ maybe without knowing it’s actual reason?

Of course it costs money to pay off a manager and any backroom staff!! That’s as old as time, and as common as muck. “Local rich businessman and footballer club owner spends money on club!” Hardly a new headline for a L2 club buddy but glad you took the time to mention it. Now please tell us Hemmings wage, Akinde’s transfer fee and what John Radford didn’t say in front of me last season

6k p/w at Oxford (according to Mr.Chairman) and it’s constantly rising but I believe it’s in to seven figures now!

I knew you actually agreed that it’s cost a fair bit to get rid, all that flirting with me even though in the end you just admit we are on the same page.

Always hard to tell what is legitimate and what has just spread from nothing, but Mike Flynn seems to be cropping up. Would certainly be preferable to Kewell.

Seven figures wow! Don’t believe everything you hear or what a google search tells ya. I prefer facts n figures from the horse’s mouth ;)

Almost everything costs money in football, I’m still not sure what you are getting out. You report it like it’s a rarity in the modern game lol

Jacob, Mike Flynn ? Tell me more
