The PL won't want one or the other, they want two bites at the cherry, which they won't get.

The other big European clubs need the PL lot on board and they know it. In the main, this is driven by the Clubs whose domestic leagues are all sewn up before a ball is kicked, and whose TV deals are at the maximum but still lag way behind the PL. The PL lot are being used in that respect. The Juve Chairman won't shut up about it.

Also interesting to note that in amongst all the paperwork around PBP, the proposals stated that despite the PL '6' taking some of their games for their own channels and the number of games being reduced, they still thought the TV deal would INCREASE! Not that we needed it pointing out, but talk about making figures fit.

Quite funny really because the Fleetwood Chairman accused our Chairman of not understanding the deal properly but it was there in black and white all along...!
