Managerial Merry-Go-Round 2018/19

With the League One season kicking back off soon - how many managers currently managing their clubs will still be there come the end of the season?

I think that out of that lot, I make it 10 managers with the pretty good chance of still being there at the end of the season. I'm open to corrections for those who know better:

John Coleman (been at Stanley for years, doing an amazing job)
Neal Ardley (unlikely to go anywhere, unless Wimbledon are having a disaster)
Gary Bowyer (doing an good job in shite circumstances)
Darrell Clarke (quality boss, may get an offer elsewhere if Rovers have a stormer)
Nigel Clough (Burton very unlikely to get rid)
Joey Barton (mates with the owner)
Derek Adams (very much part of the furniture at Plymouth)
Kenny Jackett (our owners aren't the sacking kind)
Keith Hill (synonymous with Dale)
Gareth Ainsworth (unlikely to go after finally getting Wanderers up)

Of the others:
Mark Robins will be alright if Cov keep their head above water.
Nathan Jones will be alright if Luton are in the top half as expected
Chris Powell ditto
Karl Robinson - I still don't know if he's a good, bad or middling manager?
Steve Evans - done it all before but likely to jump ship if a shinier club beckons

Don't know too much about most of the others as they are unknown quantities in this division.

Quite happy for my opinions to be torn to shreds here as they are likely to be bollocks.

On Karl Robinson, having seen Pep Clotet last season, he isn't a bad manager. Whether he is middling or a good manager we are yet to see.

Think Collins has a better chance than most people think because he’s one of the only people who will operate under Edin. That said if we are bottom three going into December he will be gone.

Well we couldn't afford to sack him that's for sure,if a bigger club comes in for him and are willing to pay that's another question and i wouldn't resent him going.

While I don't like some of his tactics, he has done a good job at Wycombe looking from the outside.

Unless we're cut adrift by a long margin, I can't see Lovell being given the bullet this season.

Seeing as I'm pretty sure that we'll be fine in mid-table, I'd put money on him being here in May.

Definitely trained there over summer, dunno who funded it though.

Either way, this is hilarious, Bowyer was the only normal and decent thing about that football club.

Only for the high court to rule that they've asset stripped. It's disgusting that the EFL and FL are sat by thinking everything is okay and ignoring it.

I wish relegation and 7-0 losses to Preston every week. But do I wish for their fans to have their club to be taken from them and for their fans to be sued and bullied? Absolutely not.

Could be a long season for Blackpool now, Bowyer had been doing a great job on the radar there considering the circumstances. He'll have no problem getting one of the better jobs in this division.

I'll admit, the Oystons are getting a tad boring, I haven't really been paying attention to the Belekon saga in recent months.

Because it is the only thing in life he has to attach himself to. He's alienated his family. He has divorced his wife. He is losing all of his property.

Running around with bodyguards pretending he is a somebody by owning a football club is all he has in life. Even Karl, who played pantomime villain, is posting on the forums and twitter about what a mess it is. Karl pleaded with his Dad to sell the club and get out of the Belekon situation with some of his fortune left.

He owes 31.5 million to VB. With 500k interest per month being slapped on top. Not many business people in the world can afford that.

We're seeing training grounds being abandoned, managers paying for training grounds. Groundsmen being employed on basically minimum wage. It's turning into a Saturday league club where everyone is volunteering and blokes are paying a tenner to play.

The EFL and the FA should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. The fit and proper person policy is a complete farce and they are sitting back and watching a community and a football club be destroyed. If I am honest, I was a 600 mile round trip to Hull to watch us lose 5-0, leaving at 5am type of supporter. Wycombe is less than 90 minutes from me and I just couldn't be bothered.

The issue we have is around 5000-6000 hardcore fans are boycotting. We still have 1200-1300 clinger ons buying season tickets and shirts.

They see the management of the club as someone elses business and they just want to support da lads. Well, they can go fuck themselves. I can't stomach going into an away end with pricks like that.
