Stockport County.
Been far better Scots than him that have come down South and have been chewed up and spat out.

Pleased for the Hartlepool lads, top lad on here Rifty- RiftHouseLad- he said they'd shock us this season. And he wasn't far wrong. We're all in absolute awe of just how shit they have been.

Alexander would be wise.

They'll stay up Hartlepool, I'm backing them. Alexander to get their home form right, they'll do it.

Their lass didn't like the area, he had a big falling out with the club.

Hartlepool could be playing in The Championship next season but I wouldn't go back even if they were in the Champions League.

"Maybe the manager thinks I have let him down but that's nothing compared with how I feel about him.

"I was homesick and told the club to rip up my deal but they keep messing me around.

"I have one year left on my contract and hope to find a solution to the problem but I'm not holding my breath.

"The club keep telling me they are going to speak to the chairman but nothing ever gets done and I'm sick of it.
Oh well, that's put me right !
Who was the manager.

If County fail to beat Carlisle next Saturday, i'm confident Roweberry will join the list.

One league win in nine for the Colchester manager. Wonder who that was against. Oh...

Definitely could be worse, but a Curle appointment to me is a ‘just stay up at all costs this season’
To be fair, with the squad we have and start we made, that’s very much the situation we are in

Curle was on Radio Cumbria last week stating he was itching to get back into management so I'd have thought he would've applied at the very minimum.

After watching Hartlepool at our place a few weeks back, I thought it was inevitable Hartley would go, to me it looked like the players didn't believe in what he was trying to implement.

I don't think Graham Alexander would go there tbh, Curle and West could probably be the best shout. Local job for our old striker Colin West as he's from the North East.

Intruiged to see what Colchester decide to do, because they've just had the same people rotate jobs there for a few years, apart from when Hayden Mullians came in. Steve Ball will now probably take the team 18 months after being sacked and Wayne Brown will stay on as an analyst or something. Might even give Paul Tisdale one final throw of the dice after he was there briefly 18 months ago.

we haven't played any of the bottom 5 yet - how bad are they (the ones you've played)?

Was inevitable from half time at Walsall on the opening day to be honest

I haven't celebrated a sacking at Pools since Dave Jones but I've had a couple of beers today. We are well shot of him.

When I heard Alexander I was thinking he'd probably go for something with a better budget and league position. He can't afford to have two or three recent failures.

Curles got nowt to lose really so I'm sure he'd be in for it. Not against it, his sides usually do what this side can't and that is be disciplined and compete. Someone of his ilk is what we need for the rest of the season.
